Random ramblings
... that when I have a day off to do nothing but play, the servers have a nervous breakdown and refuse to work
... that I suspect the Devs have done a super nerf and now the entire game consists of the chat room and the forums. Actually a very smart idea, not unlike the Alpha non-test of the CURB. All talk, no action. Sorta like a radio station.
... that I believe that by the time the "Ranger Revamp" comes around I will be one of two Rangers left on my server. Only Karimicu's is dumb enough to hang with me in this, or is it stubborn.
... I get banned for "flamming" (spell check was nevertheir strong point I reckon) and I see names in-game that are much worse than anything I ever said.
... now that traps are "fixed" I wonder how long the FOTM rangers will leave, after crying and whining about the "nerf".
... Ranger has had 3 instances of "love" that I can remember. One was the rescue nerf from long ago,number twogave us more harvesting, and now the p dart fix. Hmmm...nerfs 2, us 1. And I am not counting the fixes that should have been there all along.
... Camps are still useless pretty much. I mean, who wants to sit in one to heal? Unless you get wounded right before supper or having to go to work or some other meaningless activity and you afk yourself with a silly macro to heal up. Eye candy, but useless.
... Spammers are still in game. My addignore list grows daily. "Why no thank you, I still don'e want to buy from you". Worse than telephone soliciters. At least with the phone geeks I can harass them back - "No, I can't take your free trip. My parole officer won't let me out of state."
... AFK macros still live? I thought (yeah, who told me to think?) that recursive macros were to be ended long ago. Oh well. Too bad so many decent caves are so heavily camped. Sucks to be an ATK player.
enough for now... man I am so bored I think I will go do real life.

JB, it's these kind of flamming posts that get you in trouble you know...

don't do that.RLxp converts HORRIBLY in the villiage, so you'll never unlock your Jeedeye that way.

Actually thats not a flaming post at all. Its just a lot of true statements. Recursive macros were supposed to be removed last year. But thats ok its not the first thing we have been told that was delayed.
And you might as well make the game a chat system and forums. I dont play it anymore. Down to one account I keep because of the station pass. I loved this game and I lived in it. Oh well time to dive into more EQ2 I guess.

Keep in mind, the champion for the removal of recursive macros is no longer around.

The boards are usually more fun and this way we don't use up as much bandwidth nor incur higher hardware costs.
(Incidentally, I'm kind of glad I gave up my alpha spot and left the game for a bit. I don't think I would have handled how y'all were treated very well, especially being one of Brisc's picks.)

You are respected, you were close enough to the source to be heard, and you were right. A bad combination all around. (Maybe because you can spell, too.)

Who was the champion for removal of recursive macros? Probaly the same dev who wanted to get rid of inactive accounts (THE BASTAGE! How could he want to do that! Remove homes that have been sitting for year).
Well at least they got rid of people afk'ing Talusian Avian Meat. Well they did that by removing the real need for avian meat. Oh yeah and allowing level 80 Avian meat missions. But hey its gone right
I love this game. And someday I hope to actually return to it

Well, I'd guess they might be. SOMEONE has to clean the latrines and pack the gear and all...

Well, you may have seen the theme I have going as one of the "unofficial stirrers of the debate" between bugs and dogs in a couple of threads now - started accidentally, and it's just so much FUN. 
And Phenix gets his share of grief from meand others I'm sure... probabaly 'cause of his Alma Mater, they wear those funny purple colors... heheh. How one can be the best looking bothan - EVER... wearing THAT shade of purple, I'll never understand. It's almost the color of some of those ... garments... that that OTHER profession likes to wear so much.
