What resistances are best for fighting critters?Just normal stuff like a krevol chewin on your backside while you are convicing its nest mate to give up its hide....

No armor here, seem a bit out of character for me. Hard to sneak about the bush with armor on. I also dislike the loss of secondary stats. I'm sporting, leather jacket/gloves, cloth pants/shirt and hide boots. Need a good cover for my bald, horn covered head but yet have found one

The only armour i wear is bone armour gloves with 21% resistance to blaster..i will upgrade too Composite later on...other then that i wear a mushroom hat thing desert crawlers a storm trooper belt... a pair of boots and an MOF black cloak

Right now I am wearing Ubese minus helm and gloves since the ones that I got with the set had high mind encumberance. I'm also part rifleman, and the mind cost was killer.

I carry a full set of Ubese but don't wear it unless I am about to enter into melee. I have it all hotkeyed with a single key macro so I can swap into it in emergencies. I also wear a Bio-engineered defensive undershirt that gives bonuses to melee and stun defense.

Most of the time the creaturesI engage are dead before they can even get close to me. Some of the benefits of combining master marksmen with Ranger.

I would LOVE for there to be available a soft combat hat like you see real rangers wearing. those are cool and would give us more character.

I used to wear nothing but a cloak and some no stat clothing but recently I picked up some stats armor with low penalties... as low as I could find.

I have a set of black, green and brown camo Specops dusters and all that, I think armor slows us down to much and I really appreciate burst run doing us some good. I have all of my clothing hotkeyed and my idea was look over protection, I play Zen as being a bit Vain and a Ranger purist. I do have a black infiltrator suit for when I feel like being stealthy or in the cantina when I want the ladies to see my "Muscle". My reason for the different colors is I switch to black at night, green during the day in a forest and brown in the desert like Tattoine hehe. Black boots, gloves no hat, and I use a sliced Laser rifle.

I quit wearing armor when I realized I was getting incapped more ofthen when I dont wear it.

I am usualy running around in a simple vest, standar pants, belt, backpack. I have not been incapped in a long time now!

MOF is a small town on Tarquinas/Tattioone by bestine....they make pretty much everything (its a black robe/trench thing )

I think, unless you have some amazing armour w/o incumberance, armour is best left for gunbattles. I do travel with Chitin and take it off for hunting. I range Corellia and need it when the server drops swoopers around me. I put my armour/clothes on the last function key bank and run a macro: armour clothes / street clothes. If a swooper brawler tries to close I ether kite him or change clothes. They do, however, tend to come in pairs: a brawler and a gunman. This is where I really need the armour: kite and target the brawler (usually a lower con) and drop him, then pop the leader from range (if he is still around... Sometimes I'm pissed enough to go back and do it anyway). I have see damage reduction from ranged shots go to +100 sometimes. I always get wounds from ranged shots w/o armour. I almost never do with armour. NEVER get caught in melee with armour on, however. You might want to remove theChitinhelm before doing things like headShot.

I wear a full set of Ubese minus helm. Not only does the helm have a nasty Mind penalty that I don't want but it keeps my sexy Ranger looks under wraps and we know that ain'ta good thing.

I tank alot and almost solely hunt creatures not NPCs so I find the kinetic defense of Ubese armor far outweighs the small stat penalty for wearing it. That's not true of all armors of course but for Ubese it works for me.

I don't wear armor, but I look cooool I met this awesome Tailer on Radiant (Near Bestine) named Rass. He hooked me up with an awesome full outfit... EVERYTHING from the hat to the boots to the backpack works is color coded black and white. I wich I could show you all a pic cause it's pretty unique.. (no to show off of course)
