That's not really my question hehe. I was thinking of buying a scout droid to toss traps for me so i don't have to stop shooting. my question is: does the ranger/scout still get exp for the traps the droid throws?
thanks for any feedback.

Anyone know if telling a droid to throw a trap cost you action points. If I remeber right telling a pet to use a range attack cost you HAM.

Telling a droid does not cost you xp
A droid can launch a trap 60m and you will see the AIM special come up when it does
It gives XP but i had heard it was half of the normal. But from what i got with mine it looked like 100% XP. But you do get XP with it
I miss my trapping droid. Now that im a ranger again I think my little R3 "insta-scout" and i will be hunting again

No HAM cost, you do get the xp, and I've got a couple of droid customisation tools behind the door in m'house of tat.
Just because I like Arfur the R4 painted high contrast so I can see it... High contrast purple/lime green, but high contrast...

wow, sounds like i'm getting a trapping droid...
maybe a harvesting droid too. can a single droid do two things? can you have two droids up at once? i can get a droid that will make me never miss and tank for me too? oh wait, little too far there. just the first two questions then....

Best money I ever spent was my harvestingR3 - came in a nice brown/green camo type look as well.
Just great to keep in the rifleman prone/cover position and make the droid do all the work running around - and hes harvest rating 107 so gets more than I do anyway.

Curzon.
Yes you can. However you will take a hit on the overall bounus. each Module stacks.
Lets say you have a DE that has Modules of 17. With a R3 you get 6 slots for mods.you could go 5 harvest and 1 trap. so youd get 5X17= 85 harvest bounus. and trap module will have a bonusalso not sure the Avrage.
As for Cammo Customization. It lasts only for a few deploys if the droid cust kit is made cheap. The guy who akes mine lasts for days with many deploys.Theres no Cammo like our Dusters/specops. how ever they do have a rather nice olive Dare i say Ranger green.

They can harvest, they can throw traps, is there anything they can't do??

Oh and you can probably get a DE to color your droid for you, but no way to do it yourself.
( I can't spell.

I 'think' there are droid customization kits for droids that act just like the ones for vehicles. I have never used one.
I will say that harvesting droids give xp when the droid harvests, so I would have to assume that the trap one does as well...

Greetings all, I feel lost
What is this trap droid? Is it a new module that came out lately?
Thanks. Have a good day. What doesn't kill us makes us suffer.

It's a droid that throws traps. I bought one yesterday and loaded it with adhesive mesh traps. It cost me 5995 creds on the bazaar in Coronet, holds 23 traps, and has fairly decent accuracy. It's great for rooting something that's trying to run away when you've queued up a lot of attacks.
