It seems that The Blues Brothers has turned 25!!! That article is actually an interesting read.

Why should you care? Dunno, but I grew up in Joliet (the city, not the prison).

So, in honor of this auspiscious ocassion, I would just like to say...

We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes,
it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses...

Hit it.

I would rather have quoted the Penguin scene, but that's not entirely appropriate .

Yeh, there's been all kinds of Blues Bros. happenings all around Chicago right now. KInd of cool being I grew up on that movie and now I live here.

i have some good memories with that movie...


since the illinois nazi line was already taken:

I must say I even liked Blues Brothers 2000, probably because I could relive the good ol' times of the original.
