Hey guys,
I have someone that wants me to gather Corellian Carnivore Meat, which is really good on Lowca right now. I almost NEVER take orders for Corellian, Nabooian, or Tatooinian organics, as most of the critters drop so little that it's just a real pain to gather. I'd much rather be out on Endor or Dathomir gathering. This is for a new customer that I've never gathered for. Most of my regular customers have either dropped their crafting profs or have quit the game. This guy is one of the most popular chefs on Lowca, so i figure it'd be a good idea to take this order from him, and hopefully start a good customer relationship with him.
I know how to use the SWGCreatures.com site to find out which creatures drop carnivore meat on Corellia, but I was hoping from some advice from an experience Ranger.
So here's the question, what creatures would drop the most carn meat on corellia? i'm thinking it would either be Sharnaffs or some sort of larger Cat. But maybe there's some other creature out there on Corellia that I don't know about, since i don't really hunt there at all.
Thanks guys.

I could be way off on this but what i've noticed is the harder the difficulty level, the more resource you can get. For example... on Dant. Quenker relic reapors drop about 180 to 200 units per creature where as the less difficult savage quenkers drop about 94 to 110 units. This for a solo harvest and no group penalty.
hope this helps

typically that is correct. i'll probably just scour though the SWGCreatures site tongiht after work before going out hunting, and figure out what i need to hunt.

Razor Cats, Grondas, Canoids, Slice Hounds, and Gubbers in that order. (Unless if you can find the larger Grondas then they're first.)
There's also the Great Plains Stalker but if you kill that just for its meat you should be *bonked* =P

Gronda...you will need a somewhat powerful group to get the missions, but gronda are the way to go. After that, there should be enough wrixes around to help you out.

ok, maybe a dumb question, but what's wrong with hunting Great Plains Stalkers for meat? are they some jedi thing? if they are, then i'm plan on hunting down every last one of them and killing them myself.

Great Plains Stalkers are on the list of extremely very very rare babies. Get one of those, or a baby bull rancor, and other CH's will worship you as is your due.
In all seriousness, if you have a CH friend who is into collecting (ya ya I've HEARD the pokemon jokes already), you may want to send him or her a tell and say you've found a spawn. When they get to your location you can kill the adults one by one and see if a baby spawns.
Then they can go to the CH boards and collect much happy accolades and jealous one-starring from their peers.
There are strange worlds out there you never knew existed...
And if you are completely fascinated by this you can go here to see a full list of rares.

Just about anything with four legs drops carnivore meat on Corellia. THIS is a spawn I dream of hunting due to its plentiful nature. I have tow words for you:
gronda patriarchs
Not only my faveorite critter of all time but drops a hefty400-600 units per healthy. That was a long time ago, the values may have changed.

I think there are plains hunters on Naboo but the plains stalkers are on Corellia?

Hmmm....I think you are right about the Hunter....I have never seen a stalker, then.

Stalkers are on Corellia, I've only ever seen 1 when i was a CH looking for a baby but alas the spawn didn't have a baby. The fact that it was alone might have been a clue that a baby was there and had been tamed because I've heard they travel in pairs.
