Hi, My Name is Phat'Cohiba and I'm a rich ranger. I love to kill creatures and sell the meat for money.
Unfortunatly I got modest needs. With my first millions I bought the following:
-Big house
-10 Heavy Floral harvesters for a lot-trade floral farm
-85%+ sliced comp for high-end mobs and pvp
-Crates of 10 units of the following:
- 10 suits of 77% ubese. I use it myself and give away to noobs. Low encub rules.
- 10 Comp Chest plates. Ever destroy a chest plate in the woods trying to repair it. Can ruin your whole day.
- 10 swoops. Ever get KD'd by a NS. I hate walking.
- High end guns
- 10k ham 60% kin CL 10 Tank pets
Now, I still harvest, and I still have money, but frankly I'm not spending millions on RIS or Weird AA/CAs or little toy tie fighters. (any rangers use the +10 def vs. Krayt??)
What do you spend your money on?
I think rangers should be the most generous of all the professions. Frankly if you were greedy why be a ranger? Ranger is the prof with the best ability to make money just by playing for fun. Hanging out on lok, I get tells to help find a GDK. So I help. I get tipped. how cool is that.
I do the following:
- Over tip Medics for healing wounds. usually 10k
- Over tip entertainers. 10k+
- Over pay for buffs. 15k at least. 25k or 50k if I know them. I mean who buys our meat anyway.
- Give weapons, armor, and small amounts of cash to noobs. Or even better, invite them to hunt.

Rich... Ranger? :: puzzled look::
But seriously, I don't consider myself rich, but I've got a nice safety cushion, even after investing a lot into my mining business. I pay the going rate for buffs, especially with dancers, 'cause I don't want to wind up in someone's bio saying, "saki tiped me 50k!!!! <3 <3 <3 can u tip higer???" (There's some thing on my servers where some dancers/musicians list their top ten tippers in their bios.)
The exception: The other night, my group (3 people) was getting buffed by a dancer/musician bot, and one member pretended to hit on her, thinking she was AFK. Then she answered back.Just the reaction from my mate was worth the 60k I tipped her.
The main thing I've spent money on in the past is harvesters and some factories. I have tons of deeds, so I can harvest pretty much whatever I need (plus 24 static lots, 15 of which I bought the deeds for). I've also spent more than I want to admit buying paintings I like 'cause, well, I like paintings.
These days, when I spend, it's on paintings, AA's/CA's, or resources. I also am "house sitting" numerous houses, factories and facilities for friends who're on break from SWG, so a little bit goes into those, too.
Besides that, there's just the daily stuff like brandy, veghash, canape, the occasional armor or weapon replacement, and buffs. (I traded some wooly for two sets of composite, I'm still on the first one, save for chestplate.)
Yes, I hunt with buffs. I'm a Master TKA, and if I'm hunting banthas, I hunt with buffs. Real life is hard enough,I might as well make my fake life easier.
Edit: And swoops. Freaking Nightsisters--I even had a Desert Demon almost kill my swoop the other day. I finally had my Artisan alt make me a 10-unit crate I carry around.

I've got over 20 mill on my Ranger. Haven't really touched it in awhile. When I first became a Ranger, I went out, did alot of contracts, saved up the money.
Now, I don't worry about money. I play the game how I want, without having to worry about going out and having to do things to make money. I can relax in the game, just sit and chat with friend, and just generally hang out. I log in, and don't worry about how I'm going to pay my house maintenence, etc.

I have about 9 million on my toon. I only usually stock up foods, drinks and spice every so often. I hunt for a new weapon every now and then but thats about it. Usually dont need much.
As I lean towards Rifleman again I have been looking at krayt weapons but dont really see the point. They look ust like mine... maybe someone had spoofed it in the title but I didnt see anything to pay 1.5 million for a T21.
I usually pay maintenance with it on my PA Hall and the City hall. Help out some newbs or buy any guild docs some buff or res packs.
Normally I get myself down to like 250k before I start getting cash up again. Havent seen much worth buying lately.

I made about 1.5 mill off some great meat a while back.... and spent it all on parts for my TIEs. Sometimes I don't get paid cause I'll just trade for stuff. traded wooley for comp armor, traded meat for crates of blue milk and vegash. I stole all my furniture... but thats a long story, for another time.
Trading as a Ranger is a great way to go, if you ask me. You can trade 1 mil of credits for 1.2 mil worth of armor that cost the armorsmith half that to make--you both come out ahead, and it's an excellent way to build a good relationship. If someone makes or sells something I need and wants something I can harvest, I have no problem working out that kind of trade deal. In fact, I love it when it comes together.

Uhm, I dunno...
brandy, spice and wild wild twi'lek?
Heck if I know. I know I HAD a load of credits, I know I've earned a shedload more, but somehow I keep finding that I need to get more.
Weird thing is, when I started ingame a year or so ago, I used to hear the then rare uber players laugh at how they hade NEARLY a million cr, and now I can have nearly that in cash and be POOR???

I don't spend it much, which is why I am rich.
Tho I do need new armors. But I can trade loot and some bone for that.

Currenly working on 10 ADK's and 50 resource deeds.
Then things will get back to normal (ex. rares, better guns, SEA's etc)

About the only expensive thing I've bought is my Firespray. Everything else I try and obtain myself (ever try getting an AV21 schem and powerplant solo, unbuffed, and unarmored? It makes you appreciate the stuff a whole lot more). I was going to try and get the Firespray myself but my shipwright left the game before I got enough parts for him (i.e. he quit about a week after JTL came out
) so I just went ahead and bought one.

I forgot to mention--even finding the parts yourself doesn't make stuff free--my AV21 still cost me a few hundred k for materials (well, and the bonus tip).

When I first hit the game last spring, it was to join some friends from another community. They were all helpful, and some were very generous, too. Most have since left the game, but those that haven't, I'm really enjoying being able to help out now, be it with resources they need or buying paintings for my former "sugar momma."
(She used to buy me buffs and brandyand made sure I had a good weapon and shuttle fare.)
