short answer is yes...

but its a pain in the butt....and there is no command for disbanding camps..you gotta grind craft or sit there forever.

I got novice ranger last night and just got 4-1-4-4 now and will be making camps until master. This is my second time through so i'm not going to spend 8 hours of my life camping again.

Good luck on your holo-grinding.

Go to endor or dathomir. Run around until you find a group killing a rancor and throw your traps until you can't throw traps anymore. The enraged boys are about 1500 trapping xp each. Or, if you have an elite combat prof, find your own rancor and trap them to death, then kill/harvest them. 1500xp trapping each trap/1500 harvest.

As you move up, make those camps. the xp granted is a 2x multiplier with the number of units used. The novice ranger camp provides 100 xp. I think 107 in practice mode. go to swgcraft.com. They list it all there.

Right...what Thgilsroc said.

when you gain a new camp, grind craft those, however, the best way is to sit in one of your camps while you do it. If you have medic friends grinding, have some one tumbling and you will max your xp in about 10 to 15 min instead of the 30 to 40 min.

You can also camp outside a busy area (like south of Theed close to the bridge there). People will come through your camp all the time. I logged on my main character and just had him sit there whenever I was grinding camps.

Since i am heading back to Ranger I will drop my stuff in Theed. . Travel to Moenia. Clone. Travel back to Theed and

get killed over and over and reclone inTheed All black bars healing in a camp gains xp fast. Just find a nice and friendly TKM to wack you a few times.

I remastered Ranger in a single day. Just go to Dathomir. I did all of trapping with a few crates of glow juice traps and a few lairs of giant baz nitches. Just put on some armor, consider getting buffed (I didn't but it would have been easier with buffs or novice medic), and keep trapping the same critter. One GBN=One level of trapping (Trap lower stuff like purboles for the scouting side if you still need that, even at ranger the hit rate of traps on GBN was annoying). You can do rancors but they are even harder to hit and harder to tank. For scouting xp, just find a hunting group (or someone that can take down rancors without too much trouble, a buffed/armored TKM should be enough although 2 is even better, I used a Jedi friend) and harvest away. You can do the trapping xp at the same time but you don't have to. Finish up one line of scouting xp first (to make sure the caps go up so you don't waste scouting xp when you run to train, I recommend tracking as it will help for the next part). Make sure you get hides and bones off those rancors. Then buy a bit of metal and macro craft in a camp. It goes quite quickly that way.

Just get novice artisan, survey for class 5-6 radioactive, sample it, and you'll have ALL black. Go to the cantina to heal BF first, then get your heal healed. I did this twice for a buddy levelling doc.

There I did it. Mastered ranger in 2 days. I'm glad we could craft camps for xp. The first time around, you actually had to camp for the xp and, man, was it daunting.

/eager Now, to start the real hunting.
