My fellow rangers

I have tracked high and low north of theed, and west of deeja peak. I have looked for the albatross and have yet to find that elusive bird. Is there a spawn point or do I have to be lucky? Any light you can shed on this elusive prey would be helpful.

Thanks

Ah yes, albatross, seen only near the southern most beaches/swamps and the northern most beaches and hills. Static spawn point? Could we be so lucky.. I wish.. its more of a.. "oh look albatross" then 4 albatross kills later.. doh .. /cry there gone.. oh well

I noticed one a few weeks ago in the SEcorner of Naboo (screenshot available upon request). Close to the shoreline, but not to a point where you hear the "crashing waves".

I am also looking for this bird and I am a bit more inclined topatroll the northern shores. Why? The southern shores are very swampy and I find I'm swimming most of the timedown there. Northern shores have Faambas to harvest if I get too bored looking for Big Bird.

They also spawn in the center of Naboo, not just at the shoreline. I've seen, and helped kill, a couple of the giants about 2km due east of Keren, just east of where the river makes a turn to the south.

Gah, in the spirit of rangering...

What you're all looking for is the flatland way east of Moenia. I call the place "New Albatross Flatlands." It's a strip of plains right before the eastern border. If you're there at the right time, you should be able to go from albatross to albatross. It's a great spot.

I feel kinda guilty...but...

Just don't let this out of the forums.

You might laugh at this but two days ago I was looking for the peko and my character got stuck moving forward and I kept going north into the ocean I reached the boundry and found like a ton of albatross tring to fly out of the border. ANd as you all should well know that you cannot fire while swimming so I was kind of scewed.

I saw this area when i was a noob. I was in those flatlands and found it to be peko-peko country in general. I once saw two pekos, 2 giant pekos and an albatross hanging out in this area in one big group.

I understand the hesitation to give up spawn points. I would feel the same way giving up some of the good ones, however thanks for your input and this information will be kept under my hat.

(only spread to fellow rangers)

Besides, when those armorsmiths come to us to ask us to track, we could stand to make some very good money...

take care and good hunting

I saw one near my PA Hall 3k south of kaadara below the cliff. I was amazed at the stats on that thing! why are people after them? I saw the damage and was like "i'm not soloing that thing"

Most folks don't solo them but they are hunted for the feather they drop which is a key ingredient in RIS armor.
