Well, I used area-track for the first time in long time on mustafar trying to locate some salvage pirates or whatever, when i found a named creature. It was one of those Blistmok raptor things and was a level 80. So i got all excited that there might be abadge or at least a trophy........

nope.... got nothing. got a blood sample thing. but i'm pretty sure that is a generic loot drop.

Anyone else find a named creature?

ps. oh and it was in the crystal flats, a few hundred meters east of the the bridge leading to the smokey forest.

could be like Kash, where there's one named creature of every type, and you get something for killing all of 'em.

Might be, or it could be like the named creatures on the Ryatt trail, where afaik the only one that "counts" for anything is Scratch, and he's a named mob you have to kill as part of a larger quest. I know I ran up against a named talrus (I think that's the name - the bull creatures) in the Man-Eater quest that one of the mining chiefs gives you, was an elite (?) CL80 (single set of silver bars around the name). I think it was part of that where I looted an ivory tusk too, that like the Etyyy stuff, if you "Examine it closely", leads you to antoher quest to kill 20 of those creatures... so maybe there's more there. Did you loot anything that has additional options on the radial if you look at it, like "examine the tusk closely" or anything?

I looted intestines. INTESTINES!!! what could anyone do with intestines? It didn't have anything special about it either.....that i know of. Anyone have a clue?

It's like the stuff you loot on Kashyyyk (for the most part). Should be able to sell it to a junk dealer (there's one in the starport) and make some extra "freebie" money when you're hunting and harvesting - I look at the looted stuff as "things I can decorate with" (sometimes, like skulls and hearts and such) and "things that are totally free money to me when I'm already getting paid for doing the quest PLUS selling the hides I harvest PLUS selling the loot to the junk man". It's like getting triple paid if you're a scout or ranger! Fun times!

Undoubtedly a CDEF pistol....

I looted some intestines, a heart, a brain, and blood. When I examined them, it came up as stackable. Stackable? what on earth does this mean?

Thanks Calc, That I understand. Makes more sense that way, ratherthen trying to stack em all on top of each other to form some sort of obscene Deco art.

In case people don't know this, most of the named creatures on Kashyyyk do have some sort of unique drop. It just doesn't drop every time you kill them. In most cases you get some sort of special weapon if you kill the named mobs enough (where I've heard of people killing more than 100 of a mob before finding the item they were looking for). I'm guessing the same is true for many of the named Mustafarian mobs. I do know it is true for at least a few of the named NPCs on Mustafar but it was also the case with named creatures on Kashyyyk so you might get lucky on Mustafar as well.
