The Rangers Of TC: The Legends Of Rangerdom (LoR)
"There are a growing many rangers on TC who have got together to play, test and basically hang out on one server, TC. We made a guild to focus our efforts, provide aid to each other and basically hang out with other forum rangers and tc rangers, its call LoR, the legends of rangerdom. You dont have to be a regular tester, just have a character on the server and come and visit the lodge to get guilded.
We are a friendly set of people as you'll get to know and basically just hang around on TC. There are a few of us who play quiet a lot on TC now, some that dont and some that just play on the odd occassion.
The idea of this guild is for you to meet like minded people and forum Rangers on TC to hunt, hang out and test when the time comes. Im hoping by the time the ranger revamp starts to develope we will have a core group of prety experienced characters on TC that will be able to really test the crap out of the revamp features so we have a smooth revamp going live.
The main purpose is to have fun and meet up with rangers you no doubt discuss and talk to on the forums.
We have a guildhall in Sky Stone city on Tat where we hang out and base our opperations from, its called The Ranger Lodge. Feel free to stop by, theres normally someone online and around this place and treat it as your home" -adapted from Owen Lars' Ranger On TC
TC Community
The guild has had great help and support from the TC community and, while we all know that Rangers are welcome anywhere, it's always a good idea to familiarise yourself with local customs

Chat Channels:
The main chat channel on TCPA can be joined by typing: /chatr join SWG.TestCenter.Chat.tcpa
There is also a RIN (Ranger Information Network) at: /chatr join SWG.TestCenter.Chat.RIN
While TCPA is a great place for meeting up, arranging groups etc, the RIN channel can be useful for profession specific conversations etc.

Who can join: Anyone with a character on TC, interested in developing a Ranger character either in preparation for the upcoming revamp or to become a regular member of the TC community and helping monitor how future patches and publishes affect our profession.
Contact the Guild Leader or any Guild Officer ingame for sponsorship. (If your IGN is different from your usual forum handle it helps to say 'who' you are, lol)

Nice Ken. Ill be sure to log in and dowload all i need.
Until Beta is over i would like everyone to join the TC2 RIN channel if they could, just so those rangers online, no matter what the TC can communicate better. By all means join both but try to make sure you join TC2 RIN aswel.

Once I re-install TC you can count me in as well. I recently re-installed EVERYTHING because I added a new hard-drive.
Took 6 hours to update the standard install lol. Trying to remember the trick to make the TC install go quicker. Anyone have suggestions for myself - and others - who are interested in skipping the huge DL?

I've been on TC alot as ty'ler. need about 8 more boxes till i'm full template. Plus i'm downloading the beta right now so i'll be able to join you in TC2. see you in there later tonight. going oldschoold for me and using deadtech as my name.

I'm back on TC and have Dekiion up to around CL18 or so after a marathon hunting spree around TS last night... double XP ftw!!! I'll look for you guys on there to get guilded up, but I'm still grinding out XP too for Ranger and Carbines (hey, might as well take the chance on TC to see how well they work if we're gonna get forced that way - I can STILL use my LD1 and DC15 with most carbineer specials it seems, so... but I want to stay a rifleman and have Ranger not forced to carbines in the best possible scenario

Quick and easy way to avoid the huge download is to copy the contents of your (up to date) Live installation of the game into the test Centre folder.
Essentially, copy over the *exe *tre and *.dll files then run the Launcher as usual, you may get a small(er) download, and then you'll be good to go.
Full details are, I think, in Drashk's FAQ (page down to Section 4)

I'm avoiding the TC2 channels until I'm in beta. Don't want to spoil the 'surprise' as it were
