Shellfish Harvesters work fine, too
I made three and used a macro that activates one every 5s. You need to manually stack the harvested stuff but I got about 200 Mollusks and 150 Crustaceans in about 30 minutes (if I could heal my action it would probably have been about double the amount).
From my post in the CH forum:
- 1 BE pet properly showed it's grown up creature level the other 5 all displayed Difficulty 1.
- All BE pets showed as NO special attacks, even though some have 2 special attacks.
- All BE pets showed damage 30-40 when most do over 300 damage.

Just one note: anyone can use the Shellfish tool (it's not profession/skill restricted) and everyone seems to be able to sample at the same rate/effectiveness.
1) Get a Shellfish Harvesting Tool.
2) Find water.
3) Stand in water (do not swim).
4) Use the tool.
5) Wait 5 seconds, go to step 4.
From what little bit I did last night, I received anywhere from 2 - 5 resources per attempt on Tatooine (takes mind & action to use the tool). It's most efficient to make a macro that does the sampling for you. I received a random sampling of both Crustaceans and Molluks (50/50).
As stated above, the resources sampled do not autostack, which is very annoying. My guess is this is intentional in order to cut back on AFK macro-harvesting.
I got incapped twice, and killed
once when my food/spice buffs wore off.
I started out in Braxis last night, buddy of mine just made Master Doctor and wanted a guinea pig to test his buff packs. Walked out of the house and had some normally friendly NPC's aggro me. I moved into position to counter and realized I didn't have a decent mind buff. I poped a Muon and proceeded to lay waste to the enemy.
15 minutes later, I was walking back to the house, mind was dangerously low, but I'm alway a few ticks away from empty on mind anyway, next thing I know I'm flat on my back. Screen spam said my muon wore off. Okay, it's just an incap, it sucks, butno biggie.
Went to Endor later, got poisoned by some screecher thing. Was dragging back to camp, got incapped when my foraged food (think it was the celery) wore off. 2 seconds later, I was dead. Not cool. At all.
Couldn't milk ANYTHING on Endor. I tried a lot of critters too.
Camps are still required for vehicles/pets/droids.
Stupid Imperial Crackdown (and yes, I'm an IMP. I RP more of a Merc type, than an Imperial toadie though) Go ahead and scan me Mr. Probe Droid, go ahead and send that shuttle after me. The Emporer's lucky he's an unattackable NPC, or I'd pwn him too. ![]()
Anyway, it looks like they tweaked the effects of Muon Gold, at least. It'd be nice if they'd tell this stuff in advance.
Milking is kinda fun, I wish I had a way to get them to stand still tho. I did notice that some of the resources were splitting funny, one container was split at 100, the other at 14. unsure if this is intentional. I'll try fishing and mollusk catching tonight.
It's kinda cool seeing the ST's in the cantina, but they roam around too much and spam garbage chatter too much. a little action from them would be cool, but right now it's just annoying. it'd be nice if like four of them would stand in a group in the corner and only two roamed around, and they cut back alot on the chatter they give.
And they were testing the AT-AT in test center, does anyone know if they are showing up in live yet?
I still don't have any way of telling if my weapons are sliced or not without bringing them to a smuggler which is annoying.
I also noticed that when the aggro's popped on the screen they were yellow for a split second then turned red. maybe the devs are attempting to solve the problem of mobs aggroing on you by spawning right on top of you?
Ohh, and my vehicle doesn't hisss anymore which is a big relief, but it autostores too soon when I go into a building to shop but that won't matter after next patch.

Calling vehicles, etc without camps wasn't scheduled until the next publish, so it is still working as they had been. I have colored all 3 of my vehicles, but in my infinite wisdom, didn't recall them to see if the color stuck. There is a thread in the Ranger forum that address milking. I am just excited to try some new Chef foods, but I imagine it will bea while before I can get my hands on some (a few days before crates of it are available to the general public I presume).

I know that the colors stuck on my vehicles. Although the paint was wearing off on my speederbike by the end of yesterday (I was using it to do Jabba's Themepark and the Corellian portion of the Rebel Thempark--the loot rewards are much different now). Still, I'm impressed by this publish. There are a few problems but, overall, I like it a lot. Oh, and creature babies all seem to be non-aggressive now (although they still assist). Makes taming much easier (too bad I don't have any more CH left...).
