Alrighty then:

I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the responses to the Top 5...

• They should be released sometime next week,if all goes well (but we all know how much chance there is of that )

The problem is that due to a miscommunication on both sides, the responses for our Report will probably not be what youhave beenlooking forward to...

• Most likely (unless a blooming miracle happens), we will only be receiving responses for the Bugs portion of the Top 5 report, and not the Design portion.

I have been attempting to rectify the problem for the last month...

• But due to a rather inflexible communication system and some horridly bad luck, I fear we may be stuck with answers to only the Bugs portion.

I am telling you this now, in a hopes of reducing the insanity that will almost certainlyoccur when Thunderheart releases the results.

Since it is the season of miracles, I am still optimistic that we will receive a better response...

• But I must also be realistic, as the deadline is fast approaching.

I will be out of town celebrating the holidaysfrom December 20th until the New Year, and therefore will not be watching the forum during that time...

from what I remember of the last time we got a DEV response, we were pretty civil about it. after all, we are a bunch of do gooders.

That is slightly disappointing. I am much more interested in the design portion of the top 5 than in the bugs, because as there are no bugs preventing me from enjoying the profession, i think it is in dire need of a few new additions. What I would actually like to hear most from the devs is an answer to the age-old identity crisis issue, but it appears that that didn't even make it to the top 5.

The last time we actually received some pretty cool news though, and that's why its still floated at the top of the forum.

the Vision would be VERY nice. I'd love to hear what they say so we can concentrate our thoughts.

Disturbed or not, I would like to have the issue cleared up, once and for all. I would be okay with any one of the solutions mentioned in the State of the Profession, I would just like to know which one Iwas intendedto emulate. Now, if it's a fifth version that none of us have thought up yet, that's where the problems come in

now we just wait for the devs to tell us that we're supposed to be more like dancers or something...

This is extremely disappointing to say the least. I'm guessing this means no news on our new camps, or our new traps, both of which were mentioned prior to the patch that gave us area track and conceal. I hate to be so negative prior to the announcement, however these two things have been promised for sometime.

The only saving grace could be that they finally make camps repel aggro creatures like they're supposed to.

Hard to adequetly express my disappointment with this without flaming especially since TH has apparently become a poloitician not only in game but in truth as well, spinning things and turning them every which way, whenever the wind blows. I will not hold my breath. <sigh>

Have a great vacation N'Raas. I know it's been said before but I don't thinkany of us in the Ranger community can express well enough, what a superb job you have done on our behalf. Happiest of holidays to you sir.

only somewhat disapointing for me. I was looking forward to focusing my character on Ranger and dropping CH all together which was my goal profession from day one. The prospects of what ranger had coming down the pipes had me excited about becoming a Master Ranger. I guess now I'll still be in character limbo for quite some time. which brings me to my question . . .
if we infact only get an answer to the bugs section, are we then looking toward january for answers to the rest?

While the Vision would be nice, if the bugs are the ones that annoy me the most, I'll just be happy hearing that they are acknowledged and working on it. Of course it will probably be bugs other than the ones I care about *cough*poor-faction-ignoring-conceal*cough*...

I will be a good little Ranger... I will not flame unless the poster is in dire need of an altitude (yes, altitude, I change his with my size 11 1/2 boot) adjustment.

I will go bug Brisc on the Scout forum, that nasty old Imp anyhow.

I will once again renew my request for a /wedgie command for Master Rangers only, to make the waits for shuttles more fun.

Anyhow, until NRass returns, I will be a good little Ranger... remember my motto... Make me mad, I harvest the grid square.
