Just came up with a fun Idea... Make the recon maruader armor a looted schematic from Marauder NPC that you have to steal from via a ranger mission. Just as you loot BH armor schematics from BH missions you will "steal recon marauder armor schematics" from a ranger mission terminal. I just thought this would be an awsome amount of content for a ranger a "theif or recon mission terminal." Also for the people who arnt sure what I am talking about, the recon marauder armor is the version that has the face mask and looks almost ninja/stealth very nice armor suit and would suit the Ranger proffession very well now with its current directional role.

they would be it would be just like any other crafted armor completely customizable, the SS that i posted was just one from when the CU was on TC thats the only SS that is available of this armor atm because its not in game.

yea, recon needs it's quest/loot armor. Battle has RIS, assault has BH/Mandalorian, but nothing from recon
the art is already done, this is perfect opportunity to introduce this armor into game.
plus that face mask is so stealthy nija like anyways, seems perfect idea

I am currently running around in Battle Marauder Armour, unfortunately it is all black. Found it on a vendor so at least we know that one is in game. I have no idea why the recon/assault version of Marauder Armour would not be.
As for looks, I especially like the recon Marauder Helmet a lot. In a green/grey colour scheme it could be the perfect look.

Ismarauder recon armorwhat I recall from testing.. the one with spikes and a helmet that seemed to be straight from some big animals scrotum?
Well.. at least we can be invisible and noone will ever know we wear the armor that makes the padded armor helmet look wicked cool.
How about being able to steal peoples hawtpants while they are wearing them? it'll certainly add some flavor to the steal skill

The pic of the armor in the original thread is the marauder assualt armor, not the recon armor. (Well, the helmet at least is from the assualt armor set.) The person who took those pics when the armor was avaiable on TC mixed up some of the recon andassualt pieces. The recon armor is the armor that you used to be able to get from the marauder theme park. That all being said, though, I like your idea, though I think I'd rather have a completely new set of armor, just because I've never liked the look of the marauder recon armor that much.

yep, I have a suit from preCU looks the same as the link all but the helmet because that was never in game

I think you forgot to put in a link. The helmet in the following link is the recon helmet, however the rest of the armor is the assualt armor, and to make it even more confusing, the person who took the screen shot called it battle armor, though its clearly not battle armor, since we already have that in game.

Sorry, but you are wrong. This was the Recon Recon armor set from TC. The assualt armor looks very similar to the battle armor but it was never implemented in the game. I just saw a full set of this recon armor and I have examined in. It said and I quote "Recon Marauder armor". And it said something about this armor was widely used do to its cheapness to make. This armor is in the game.
The quest items you get from the Maraduer missions are Recon armor but I do not know how you get a full set and there was a full set sitting in a GH. I examined every peice, its all there and legit.

The only pieces of Marauder Recon armor that you can see in-game right now are the Leggings, Chest, and Biceps. You used to be able to get them from the Marauder themepark, and some people still have them on display. The helmet, boots, bracers, and gloves were never available on live servers, and the only time players have ever been able to get them, was during CU testing on TC when you could get all three Marauder sets off the blue frongs. At that time, the helmet in this thread's original post, was the Assualt helmet, and the helmet in the link I put a couple posts up was the Recon helmet. You're correct though, that the rest of the armor is the recon armor, though it is possible that the boots and gloves are mixed up, too. The screenshot in this thread's original post is from a series of screenshots that were taken very early in CU testing, and I believe that even back then the taker of the screenshots admitted that he mixed up the recon and assualt helmets, and that he also mixed up the assualt and battle sets, unfortunately, these messed up screenshots have made it out onto other sites on the web and are treated as being correct. Heck, even SWG Wiki is still using the obviously wrong pic of marauder battle armor, and that's an armor set you can easily get on live servers.
