I know we are all poor rangers without a need for hard cash . That said I can't seem to find good missions making more then 1k. Does it have to do with your highest weapon skill?? Certain planets give more ( I know Dath and such but they are 65 lev)?? Any input would be nice for the solo rangering type.

Well Mamien Missions on Yavin IV are easy for me. They pay 2.5k not that much, but still better than starter planets. I am a rifleman and have a Greater Sludge Panther and a Cu pa out at the same time. Plus they don't pack hunt or deathblow. They also give wooly hide. So you can sell that to tailors to make some extra money. But the critters range from lvl 9 to 18. I get them done really fast so I can see making a little money. But not alot.

I find missions that have animals with wooly hide or herbivore meat, complete a bunch of the missions then sell the meat and hides. Like on our server right now naboonian wooly hide is at 900+ oq so I geta bunch of gualama missions and sell the hides for 10cpu. Each mission pays about 3k plus I can usually harvest about 500 hides each time.

Pubam missions on Endor, 25k a pop.

Missions do change depending on the weapon you have equipped and the skills you have in it. Barehanded, I get 500c missions, with a scout blaster I get up to 3k missions (pistoleer 0-3-3-2).

Depending on my mood, I take a gronda mission (decent XP, 2900c, takes a while) and a butterfly hive (crap XP, 3000c, 5 min mission). total time including running is about 25 mins, and I make 6k more or less. This is solo, no pets.

I shoot and harvest on my way to and from the missions also...hotkeys are fun. Plus the meatlumps that infest the area that love to give me cash and disks.

I just sold 10k Avian meat for 200k and about 6k wild for 65k + some other meat to for a total of 320k !

And I have plenty of buyers! Just got an order for 10k units of highquality meat worth 180k

So money is not a problem for me!

JUST STOP SELLING YOUR MEATS AND HIDES CHEAP AND YOU'LL GET RICH!!

Actually, it's overall quality, then potential energy. Flavor is useless to doctors.
The formula for exact medicalworth for meat is too complicated for most people I've tried to explain it to but a good basic forumla is:

OQ = x
PE = y
Medical Rating= z

(x * .66) + (y * .33) = z

Ido the adventure planets with a small group, usually witha CH, TKA and a doctor/medic. I made 25k from split pay on missions on Dantooine one night, and if you have a master smuggler with you, they can slice the terminals to get even higher payouts.

Then sell the high-quality meat or hides for serious money. I find that the best place to sell on my server is Naboo, as there is a higher concentration of artisans and medicals there.

How do you get people to pay those prices. In my server people complain when buying hide over 950 OQ for 5 creds a piece. Cant remember prices for meat but they do not come close to the amount of money you are making.

I've made 300k tracking Krayts now. My price is 50kper Krayt that's outside the tracking distance of a currently located Krayt.

I located a Krayt nest for one guy and he gave me 100k then asked me back 2 days later to track for him again. The nest took 10 minutes to find which is 10k per minute and he let me leech combat and CH XP from the Krayt while his ATSTs beat them up.

I think the entire point of the Ranger is as a group support class. You're the go-to guy for hunts - coordinate the team effort and lead them to the game, then buy their harvested components at a reduced rate and resell it. Using this method, my hunting party got 25k of Endorian wooly in about 4 hours, and 16k of Dathomirian leather in about 3. These sell for about 15cpu =)

Capper Spineflap Missions out of Kaadraa, Naboo 2k-2.6k
Shallow Torton Missions Rori 1.6-2.0k

Basically If im on a Planet and there is no good wooly, bone or herb/avian meat. Find the lowest lvl creature that you can one shot Kill quick and just Kill everything in sight Harvesting meat.

A few hours on Rori with a crap bone/hide shift, between nightspiders/hermit spiders/ flewts and cappers You can get 2-3k of insect meat, not to mention levilsquall's, squalls and ikopi's. 4-5k herb 1k wild meat.

WHY meat, and any old meat.

BE's , Just like armorsmiths/taliors need hides, BE's Need a TON OF meat. Now for the amount of time it takes to kill things. You can Price things 4-6cr/unit , they are paying for quanities not quality.

Now here is the deal with this, 30k of meat Is NOTHING. 3-4 days of milking lairs. Shooting the one creature in the middle of no where, killing noob creatures around town.

I've found that rori is the perfect planet for that.
Why,
The planet IS DEAD, I've spent weeks on rori and maybe ran across 15-20 people At the rebel base, I've never seen more than 5-7 in town EVER. restuss or narmle.
It cost 600 to fly back to theed
Mid Lvl Creatures, Wooly all over the place, Vir vir's , gualama's, torton's
Bone everywhere, (other than rasps, and koi tak's/spiders too)
Plenty of Fimilar creatures coming from naboo as my starter planet.

missions are close 2k at the most, Lots of aggros to tangle with and did I mention its DEAD
