There has been supposition on two topics, both concerning yours truly.

1. Why does JB hate rasps?

answer - a long time ago, like the fourth day of the game, JB got totally 100% no doubt about it, owned by rasps. He had not learned not shoot nests yet. Like 10 rasps pecked him to lil pieces. This was still when you had a corpse. I had to run in from town, naked more or less, and recover my stuff. Took 3 tries. I think I was 1-1-1-1 in scout, and maybe 1-1-0-0 in marksman at the time. I had a mighty d18 and aPOS rifle. I avoided rasps for months after that. I would go a grid square out of my way to avoid them. Then I found out I can kill them with impunity. Except the lil turds break my maskscent constantly. While I am sneaking up on torturs, the freaking rasps break my maskscent and I get to deal with 2 bulls at the same time.

Thats why I hate rasps. Originally this was told in a thread way back, about what animal did you fear but you now go out of the way to kill type thing.

2. Why does JB hate BHs?

Several reasons. As Calc and Fred have previously stated and I paraphrase- They are whiney lil bahstahds. They see a skill, they want it. They see a weapon, they want it. They want to one shot the freaking universe, while never being touched. Don't believe me, a thread on their forum right now whines about how hard the marks are. I was amazed someone actually said use tactics to win. A seldom heard voice of reason. Ok, that was reasons 1-4 right there.

Next is the fact that most of the BHs are kids, I mean teenagers, 12-15, who have no manners and can't take NO for an answer. I swear, this is a sample conversation -

BH- "I need you to track someone for me" no greeting, no please, no could you, I call that a demand, so I blow him off, no answer. 30 secs later "I said.." reply "Sorry, I am busy right now. Maybe you can find someone else" "No, I am in a hurry, I need you to do it" "OK, sure, I get 25k to start, no guarantee that I can track who you want, and I get my money up front. That's for an hour, or any part of an hour. Once I get the money, no bank transfers, we can start" 99% of the time I then have to hit ignore to stop the verbal abuse.

Now, not all BHs are like that. But go read the forums, PvP, and just generally hang out and you will see that most are. Too bad the good ones have to suffer for the fools, but hey,life is not fair.

Personally, I would enjoy seeing Scout removed from BH, and replaced with Brawler. I can make many good arguments on how BHs are "The master of all weapons...blah blah blah" yet, can't go unarmed or use melee weapons. With the coming nerfs, mayhaps the Devs will think on that.

So, until I change my mind, and no, you can't do it so don't bother trying - I am going to hate the living snot out of Rasps and I will continue to laff at and belittle BHs. Oh yeah, kreetles too, because they are also a pain in the azz. Never been killed by them, they are worse than cockroaches.

Yes, some of this is RP, so catch a clue y'all. You honestly can't think I am that cranky IRL. For those that do, I can recommend a few psychoanalysts.

Now, lighten up and have fun. Quit being so darn serious all the time.

Oh yeah, I also object to Brisc not getting me any new monkeys. Rotten Imp, stupid SL (my next class to laff at). See if I rag on CHs for him.

For the record, since we're writing about personal stuff:

1. Why does Delta hate kreetles?

Well, frankly, I never left Naboo to get Master Scout, so it wasn't until I was playing the game for a while that I went to tatooine. At first, these little buggers didn't give me a problem. Then mask scent broke. And I was out on Tat testing it for days, trying to figure out what was going on. Scout after scout started complaining that mask scent was breaking on kreetles - and it was. So I went killed dozens, thousands of kreetles testing mask scent. And then mask scent was fixed - EXCEPT FOR THE FRICKING KREETLES. N'Raas and I go out testing on Test Center - what do we kill? Kreetles. They are evil, mask scent breaking buggies and I hate them. Almost as much as shaumpaunts. But these guys are meaner...

2. What's with the monkey's and Delta?

In my first Scout report, the Devs asked us to put in a "pet" issue, one that we wasn't a top 5 concern, but something that we wanted to discuss. I asked for more "money making opportunities" for Scouts. But I didn't spell money the right way. It says "Monkey". Soon, people had that in their sig files, the Devs repond saying that monkey making should be left up to the BEs, and even the QA guys on Test Center make fun of me about it. Now, it's the stuff of legends.

3. Why does Brisc hate CHs?

Well, like JB, I have a think for stomping on CHs. Back when I started as a correspondent, CHs and there 3 Rancor hauling butts were the biggest, baddest profession in the game and they owned everyone. So everyone wanted to be a CH. It was the first flavor of the month. So, needless to say, we had dozens and dozens of people flooding the scout forums, begging for the quickest way through everything, and whining that survival took too long, etc. Well, we got fed up and started teasing them. Soon, CH was nerfed back into it's proper place and the world returned to normal.

So there's a bit about me for the new folks.

Well, I cant say I have such extensive history as you guys when it comes to hates but I have had my fair share of laying next to rawls(baby) as a noob scout running from Naboo to Theed that I now kill them with a vengence. Now tho its too easy.

My most recent rant tho is against smugglers. Not all smugglers mind you just the one that bent me over and let me feel the love. I have had about 12 containers sucking up inventory space since the first month and finally decided I would never get to novice smuggler myself and had some guy slice them for me. He claims that there isnt anything worthwhile in it. CDEF pistol.. few pieces of steel and just general junk. I say ah forget since he was lagging(coronet) and was having trouble just getting the containers.

But.. as he runs off he shouts "Does anyone know if I can use a holocron and still sell it?" I was a lil bitter that he never asked me about it while we were waiting there for his lag to settle down. Nah... he just got one right after he finished slicing my containers...somehow.

My mistake for not finding a trustworthy slicer and of course I could be wrong about it but I am willing to bet... Since some of those containers were from the first month of launch when they were dropping pretty decent loot.

Narglatch cave. Dark and dingy. Party screws up and dies leaving me to be eaten. Grrrrrrr.

I became very familiar with many Moenia dancers and medics (yes this was when the city was hopping).

But I must say Delta, you don't have to worry about monkeys because the economies are flooded with them. I know we just need to find more ways to get our share. We need a redistribution of monkeys!

This sort of stuff almost makes me wish for the days when Rangers were mostly useless. I remember the days when I could wander around with a Master Ranger tag and not get a single tell from someone I didn't know unless they were another Ranger (and those were the days when the Rangers were all nice people and not some of the current hologrinders). The sort of days when people ended up not deathblowing you in PvP just because you had a Ranger tag.

I vaguely remember some guy writing about that in a guide or something. I wrote that guide off as drivel.

The reasons why you hate BHs are the reasons why I hate Jedi... which in turn makes me turn BH so I can kill them...

lol, i remember when i had only been playing the game for a little while (was still a noob on talus) and was grinding survival exp. At the time i didn't know that there was a cap for how much survival exp you get per camp. So i had made one and gone afk for a few hours, thinking that when i came back i'd get like 10k exp from the one camp.

What i actually got was a vynock had diseased me and i had 999 health wounds, i picked up novice med to try and heal them, but then didn't know how to make woundpacks (as i had no crafting tool). Lol... took me almost three days to get healed
