well, like the emote i did right before we fought him said, The Katarn was not long for this world.

Myself, as well as Draknev are now the proud owners of Katarn Trophies, as well as the Knuckles of Katarn.

Drak was going to have a guild XP grind trip, so i met up with him and a few of his guildies down in the Shadowlands, and we just leveled that place. it wasn't very Ranger-Like, as it was a full group of 8 people, but we just layed that whole place to waste. Although, even in our huge group, i was surprised how quickly we dropped the Katarn. myself and another master pistoleer were alternating our Stopping shots, and Katarn died before the 3rd root broke.

Even if it wasn't solo or in a small group, it still felt good to tangle with the toughest critter Kashyyyk had to throw at me, and still came up victorious.

now i just need to start redecorating my house since i have all these new things to make my house a nice hunting lodge.

Definately...

Im in a rebel-only guild, and several times, we've hunted with Oreet (in his flashy new scout trooper armor) and we all had a blast!

It was very nice to have coordinated tactics, good group dynamics and good communication. Every member of the team filled a slot (i kept making sure that volley fire was on every critter we fought) and we cut through the forest like a hot knife through butter.

I know for a fact that we would enjoy hunting with Oreet any day of the week.

we ended up doing some xp grinding for some of our jedi hopefuls and had a blast!

/salute Oreet

The katarn wasnt too hard esp in a big group ... i look foward to soloing that critter next

Hell yeah, i'm glad Vurdan finally got some Scout trooper armor restocked. if you want to get some Reb or imp armor, look him up. he sells full suits for 1.5 mil, which is a bit steep for armor, but it's great stuff. outstanding stats on it.

only problem is that i, as a rodian, can't wear the helms. so for my scout trooper armor i wear a black Mabari helm, and with my shock trooper armor i wear a black composite helm.

drak, we gotta get up to Avatar sometime too.

Definately...

Right now i have in my armor collection

All Full suits:

RIS, Bounty Hunter Armor, 2 Rebel Assault, 2 Rebel Clone Armor... and a crate of 9 old pre-cu armor given to me by Lowca's best armorsmith before he left. Maolinn. I was his primary supplier and we made each other a LOT of credits. when he left the game he bequeathed me 20 full suits of 80% across the board composite armor in crates.

Ive given a bunch of armor to friends and guildies.. and i have 9 left now...

As for the Avatar.. i still need to finish the Etyyy quests and then work on some of the smaller ones (and wait until they finally debug the darn arena, so i can finish that quest) but we can definately do the avatar station... and im sure that my buds would want to go too.

If your armorsmith friend will accept barters for hide and bone, then that would make me very happy too.

as far as armorsmith "friend" i know him only because someone suggested him for faction armor, and he makes good stuff. i've never conversed with him other than emailing asking when he'd have scout armor in stock.

think you could round up some buds and help me rescue Rroot from the blackscale camp on the webweaver trail? maybe we cna do that tonight. that'll get me one step closer to getting inside the blackscale compound.

I totally agree, but that does not mean he isn't a SOB and it certainly doesn't make it right...what a freak!

I suppose I should adhere to the innocent until proven guilty thing, but he is a celebrity, he will never be proven guilty.

.......... Getting back on topic.... i used our 1 usefull trap and soloed it with a proton carbine.

however (back off topic) i don't think MJ qualifies as a human being phisically or mentally anymore anyway. i think he goes under the animated halloween life sized action figure catagory now.
