Thread: Can Owen be trusted?

While perusing the ranger cabin insanity threads, I made a shocking (well, not really) discovery: the man himself is a frequent poster in many of these dubious threads! I think this calls into question his ability to judge what is "sane" and what is not.
I was going to call for Owen to step down as curator of the cabin, but then I remembered that no one among us is really qualified to fill that role. Still, I thought it my duty to point this out.

Well...let's see. He's with us everyday. He posts here all the time and he makes suggestions that would improve the Ranger profession. Of course he can't be trusted. and of course he's not sane. But who among us can really claim to be either of those things? Owens' a good corr. because he's an insane, sneaky guy who can't be trusted. Besides, you'd better pray he never leaves as corr. I think I'm next in line for the job.

No, no, I'm not questioning his ability to serve as our blue glowy. I'm behind him 100%. I'm merely questioning his ability to differentiate between the various degrees of sanity.
If anything, that makes him a better corr.

Ah, my mistake. Anyway, I figured the use of italics and a reference to an NWA album was enough to indicate that I wasn't seriously calling for Owen's ouster. Next time I'll allude to public enemy.

Theres still a lifes worth of ideas bottled up in here *points to head* and i plan on getting into some very long winded discussions with the devs about our revamp heh.

I think we all are a bit insane...
Sometimes i see rangers as a digital Don Quixote, charging windmills, idolizing our beloved profession, and always off in the distance is the mythic revamp, where all will be put to right.
N'Rass, Calc and Owen have all exemplified that creative cognitive dissonance with grace, wit and downright random thoughts.
Its truly no wonder why i feel at home here.
