I saw this on the Wanderhome forum yesterday...the only thing that makes me believe it MIGHT be for real is the darn address...can somone register an address that is and extension of another (i.e. could I register the address www.cbs.com/CalculusEntropy)?

Calc, I don't think it's fake. It has "my account" buttons and uses the trademark logos from both Pizza Hut and SOE. Plus, the "my account" link actually does link to my SOE account. It actually appears to be a valid webaddress. SCARY.

I totally believe it. When I was loading up EQ2 for the first time and was watching the loading screens my husband remarked that they must have gotten a lot of money from (Dell? Asus? I forget) because each one had its own screen you had to click out of in addition to the SOE screen.
When the games starts having commercial breaks we'll know we are in trouble.

Yeah, I forgot about the Dell ad, so I guess this is just par for the course. SOE (at least the EQ side) is shamelss. I wonder if they will start distributing catheters with their products...

Hell yeah, bring on the /beer command. As long as it's Murphy's or Shiner, I'm good.
Man, /pizza. Talk about some lazyarse gamers.

I wonder if this is just product testing? If it's a success in EQ2, wanna bet $OE puts it in all their games?
This is just a bit too much.

Our consumption of media is amidst a dramatic change. With the advent of "TV on demand" (such as Tivo (sp?)), consumers are now able to dictate which portions of a media broadcast they consume. This is putting tremendous strain on the advertising industry since media watchers are now fast-forwarding through their commercials and avoiding them all together.
This recent upheival of the "TV viewer" as a "captive viewer" has spawned a new surge of creativity within the advertising industry. Product placement is rapidly becoming the flavour of the month! Commercials in movie theatres, product placement embedded in programming, and now /pizza in video games... how does this all differ from a TV commercial? Captive audience!
What we're seeing here with EQ2 is a dramatic societal changerelated to ourmedia consumption happening right before our very eyes. Some may not want to believe this /pizza thing, but it doesn't shock me for an instant.
.... just my $0.02 Cdn.

LOL Nice..
Anyone remember the In Living Color skit where the laziest people ever were on their couch while a vacuum salesman was trying to show them his stuff? They would say things like... "Put a chip in mouth." "Whats its gonna kill ya to put a chip in my mouth?" This reminds me of that skit... lol Funny. /revamp please
