I recently got Master Ranger and have been thinking about custom ordering a suit to wear to go along with my new title, but I'm not too familiar with the types of clothing in the game and what they all look like. So I was hoping to get some ideas from my fellow rangers. Please post below what peices of clothing you wear when you RP with Ranger or if ya like to hunt without armor. Also should I get the bio-enhanced clothing? I know there's mask scent synth clothes but does it come with camo too? Thanks in advance brothers and sisters.

It's a Short Robe with an Ubese Bandolier and one arm's worth of Chitin Armor. And some Tantel Armor Boots.

Basically, I just go fora functional, scroungy look.

Nice kilt thing there CatAtomic, makes you kinda look like a highlander.

As for what i wear.. i'm a wookiee so there's not much i can really wear and that's cut down even more by the fact i don't like half the wookiee clothing. I'm considering getting a nice new outfit made up for me to include some BE'd stuff for ch... At the moment i wear

Tree Dwellers Hood
Wookiee Shoulder Pad (doesn't show but has BE bonuses in it)
Arm Wraps
Weighted Wookiee Waistwrap

All is black as my fur is dark green/lightgreen and looks Rangerish enough.

I wear a nicely made camo pattern spec ops duster with maskscent/camo and doc bonuses, white trim lined shirt, casual pants, and the boots I got from the rebel theme park. And a pair of black gloves to finish it all off.

I'm a wookiee too (surprise surprise), and have a similar limitation in what I wear. However, for a wookiee I do own a hell of a lot of clothes!

When I'm off on 'jobs' I have two similar outfits, one is all green, and another is sand colour. The idea is that it's a visual camoflauge, so that I blend in with the environment I'll be working in.

Alternatively, I use the new armour-pants (leggings) and wear clothes to coordinate with those. Apart from the odd-concept of a wookiee in trousers, it does work nicely, imho.

Although, when I'm hunting on dantooine, I've began a habbit of running around in my bare fur. I can't explain it, Dantooine just makes me want to run around naked (once I'm away from built up area's that is) !

I gave my spec ops duster with maskscent/camo bonuses to a scout friend, but I think it's time to buy another one. Now that I'm a TKM, and I can wear something other than ubese 24/7, I'll definitely besearching for things tomake for a more rangery appearance. We really do lack a good hat for that (see bushy beards and cowboy hats post). Bandolier is out for me-- too much stuff in my backpack. Not sure what I'll end up getting, but I actually enjoy taking a break now and again to hit all the clothing vendors on a planet and spend some of that hard-earned hunting money.

To answer your question (finally), yeah, I'd go for some BE stuff if you're not into armor. Scout/ranger BE stuff is generally pretty easy to find, and even if your maskscent and camo skills are pretty high, every little bit helps. Heck, even with my +15 undershirt, I still get my camo broken by EVERY kreetle on tat. Good luck on completing your look.

Happily, my wife plays a Tailor so I've had some time to work on my look.

Spec-Ops Duster (different color schemes to match differing planets)
Paramilitary Camos (matching the duster)
Leather Gloves (black)
Form Fitting Undershirt (dark green, +14 maskscent and +14 camo)
Sturdy Boots (boot black, spats to match the planet)
Headwrap (color to match the prevailing color of my outfit)
Workman's Belt

So obviously, yes you can get BE clothing with camo bonuses.

well in the wild i wear the standard iguess. Camo duster,Paracamo pants colors to match the enviroment im on. ( Bio ofcourse)

However when in town. I switch to my Imp ranger Uniform of Camopants and a Red and Black desert commanders Jacket. Imp uniform boots as well.

Now i wish we had Scout Armor if that was the case id run around cities in that Overt. and in the wild Overt. Yeah id get clobbed. But to have my scout armor would make it worth it. OOO or the swamp armor../JOYGASUM

Thanks for the posts so far everyone these are great. I just need to find a tailor that'll actually work with me and let me try the clothes on and see the look before I buy them. Would hate to have to buy every peice I think would be good, find a nice match, and then have to delete the other peices. Oh and extra thanks to CatAtomic for the pics, really helps to see the look instead of having to picture it myself.

***And keep 'em coming for all that haven't posted yet.

All my stuff is now in "urban camo"...black and grey... as I found it fits in best on most worlds.

Work shirt - +13 camo/maskscent and +4 melee defense

Pants - +15 wound treatment/speed

boots - couple of CAs on em, nothing great

Duster - +15 bleed defense.

Gloves - Corsec +3 pistol speed

Spec Ops pack with various mods.

New color changes coming soon. May go for shorter jacket.

Seems to be a trend. I go with the Commando look to. Wrapped boots, Paramilitary Camos, Spec Ops Duster, Workshirt and Leather gloves. Shirt has +11 cover and the pants are +15 cam and mask, gloves are +1 surveying I think. Not to original but looks the part.

Now that I can hunt unarmored and unbuffed (for most things), I've asked a talented tailor/image designer on our server to help me come up with a new look. When I've got it and am wearing it, I'll post a screenie here for you.

I'd quite like to see some kind of hooded poncho type arrangement available (for non-wookies), a la Aragorn in LOTR, but there isn't, so Gialla and I are seeing what else we can do.
