Yesterday I was asked by a jedi initiatein passing if I could help him out. I was actually looking for something to do in coro when he asked so I asked what he needed.
"I need to find and kill 20 Falumpasets" and have been looking on Rori for 2 hours. I will give you free buffs for life with my alt and name your price.
Well I knew that they hung out on Naboo by the Mordran POI so I answered him
" It's all good, I'll locate some for ya, no charge"
In the end we quickly found 40 of the buggers easily and he tipped me an unsolicited 250k even though he didn't have to (cool guy)
Later when I logged back in at night I again was on coro when some buddy's in RIN chat offered up 500k for locating a great plains stalker so they could tame a baby. I told them I'd have a go at it and was sucessful. By the time we were done Mot' tamed a baby and we actually found 3 different adult spawns!
Total for my first time ever tracking 750k
I normally don't track for anyone but it was fun

Last week a Jedi tipped me 50K for spotting a peko peko albatross. Not a bad gig at all!

for those of you who may be a little newer here and are curious about tracking for pay, what people charge, do people do it, etc... do a search on this forum.
There have been LOTS of threads on this issue with lots of great info for you.
I'm glad to see you guys are having fun using your ranger skills and are getting paid for it too!

Ya I've been really lucky with tracking for pay. No stories to tell really. Then again I turn down 80% of the people that ask, so maybe I know how to pick them.
Jedi are best when you get them after they've been looking for a loooonge time. They tend to kiss your ass

Nice.. I did a 3 hour stint on Endor looking for Blurrg Raptors for a guy. He was roaming on his own while I was doing my own walking track. I was just killing Herb meat critters as I went. (hey 50cpu on Kettemoor right now).. I didn;t find a single one. He found 1. I did find the Gorax 8!!!!!! Times.... and 20,000 units of Meat for my trouble.
He tipped me 300k for taking the time. so I made 1.3 mil in 3 hours and saw the Gorax for my first time ever ingame..
Not a bad day.

Jaxus, they're pretty easy to find these days. Head to the norther plains and you should run into one fairly quickly. We could get a hunting party together again and head out... the only downside is that the gorax doesn't drop any resources to be harvested

Um I don't have wp but I've found the Gorax a time or two near the Race Track up north...um no wp for that either. Just kinda wander northish of SO you'll find it. In the desert like area up there.
If you found the Gorax while looking for Blurg Raptors you where trying to hard. I always see them when I'm out popping Boar Wolfs, Blurg Hunters, Borgle's, Ect. in the area about 600 to 1800 m out side of the Outposts. I've only killed one at a time but a new one pops up right where the last one was. I bet you get at least 3.
This may be in my head but when I was helping someone find Stintaril Prowlers they seemed to respawn faster if I harvested them. They are the Raptor of the Stintaril so...
Jebi or no Jebi 68k ham, up to 1600 damage, CL 140 ish, not a krayt but still hand you your ass if you arn't up to it. Oh ya a medium armor rating to, unless your got a LS.

they respawn faster if you harvest them because the corpse despawns faster allowing it to respawn alive... (or so i think)

Harvest the Blurg Raptors or the Stintaril Prowlers.
I was always mad I couldn't harvest the Gorax.

nevermind - gorax obvously counts as an NPC - looting it will prob make it despawn and respawn faster.
ive noticed that most wild spawns will respawn around 3x everytime - is this a set number does anyone know or can it be more?
