Thread: wow traping is a drag!!
I've been doing my darndest to extensively track Trapping XP and so far I've noticed that on low level creatures things seem to be going very smoothly (though XP awards could probably be looked at.)
I hear alot of people are having trouble at higher levels ... my testing char is only 1/0/0/0 scout so I can't say for sure what the story is so far.
I'd suggest just making up a crate and going to town. I use P-Darts almost exclussively as a CL 77 Ranger and I'm hitting with 50% accuracy on my live toon.
The walls have ears, uhm, eyes, well, they're not walls either
Just ixnay on the trapsay

ok first off JBmat who made you the moderator of the bourds?? and second yeah i was useing glow wire traps and landing just the same as P darts....1 in 15 or so. But i get the xp while in a hunting group so i never get touched. Ill just make some crates of them and just kepp tossing them.
Rule One with JB: You don't bother him, he won't bother you.
Kind of like what we hope is true when we are near poisonous stinging insects ![]()

I have rarely had trouble with any traps...My traps stick about 1 out of every 4...(most of the time on the first trap tho)...Someone else in this thread mentioned the fact of getting a late start on trapping...I believe he is right...The only time I had trouble with my traps was when I leveled everything else first, then came back and tried doing the traps...Most of the time I start with the trapping because at low levels it will help you out so much..It was not until Ranger xxx3 that trapping xp got really slow for me...Thats when med to large groups come in handy..
Just my 2cents
