They can also be found around the volcano.

I often find them around my city which is at the centre of the map (around 0,0)

also find them a lot if you follow the rivers down in the SE quadrant of the planet, between the POI and the volcano. I could give you sort of "boundary cities" for looking, but that would only help you no Ahazi. Roughly, build a "box" between the Kimo skeleton POI, Kimo town POI, Imperal base POI and the volcano. That's probably where I get 95% of the GDKs I get - granted it's a huge area, but if concentrate more along / near the rivers, and get on right after server restart, I can almost always find them. Almost always.Seem to drop loot a lot better than the static spawn that everyone camps and fights over too.

/agree

I live on Lok, and i can vouch that you will almost NEVER see a GDK in the northern half of Lok. Them big kimos like it down south, and like to hang around the rivers of mountain dew.

Also, if you pick 3 spots such as the kimo town, the GK skeleton, and the static spawn of the gurk king (forget the exact location) you can drive in a triangular pattern, and a lot of stuff will start to kick up. in your wake.

remember though that the GDK pops every 10 minutes now at Kimo town.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I was passing a lot of them doing the Lok race that starts up at Nyms, mainly near one of the rivers around the mid point of the map.

/Agree with what everyone else has said about the volcano and southern rivers. However, if your server is like mine, you won't find any GDK's other than the one at kimo town. For a while now, nothing has spawned below the equator on my Lok. The slopes of the volcano are desolate, the riverbanks completely devoid of hulking, venemous, armor-plated life. Hopefully, things will be different for you. Good luck and good hunting.

Still the case as of 2 days ago. There's a lot of bases in the south of lok eating up all the spawns. I think we need to provoke some imps into taking out some bases in the south of lok

A wasted effort if they're not spawning, as on my server.

plus /areaTrack only works up to 500m. Planets are what? 14000x14000? about 7km in each direction, I think. It'd take about 250 uses of areatrack to cover the planet. and even then, you might find nothing if they aren't spawning naturally.
