bummer
I know someone that use to play AO 'till he ran out of money. It's part of where I got the original idea that maybe stealth could be done here.

Farewell and good hunting.
P.S. I think the forums are public again so you might still be able to take part (or at least read), saving money and still keeping one of the best parts of the game.

It's really good to hear the forums are public. If I can't read 'em, how will I know when it's all fixed? Again it's nice to ghear from y'all.

When one watches the tortise herds traveleing along ... one will pass from teh herd. The other great beasts turn with slow movements to watch another stray from the path, and then, after the mourning is passed, they turn once again to their direction. The ancient ones are great in size and young come and go as the energy of youth carries them this way or that.
How few of the great ones still remain. And how practiced their efforts to watch the others slip away. Does the pain of lossstill strike their heart or has it hardened it?
hmmm ......

Hello rangers and rangerettes. Oh, and goodbye too. I'm outta here. A recent interview with someone that we've all read helped clinch my decision to quit. I'm not giving SOE any more money. I'm going back to Anarchy Online it works a lot better with very little lag and good graphics. If any of you play I'll be on RK-2 using the name Soulreaverr. It'd be nice to hear from any rangers that game there too. Maybe I'll play again IF this game ever gets fixed. I love the ranger community, especially on the forums. The problem is, I have more fun in the forums than I do in game. All of you guys come up with great great ideas on a regular basis and there is always good conversation in here. And I don't think anyone has a dodge bonus high enough to get out of the path of Phenix' s humor. Keep up the good work Calc. I really hope it gets better for all of you with the patience to ride it out. If I do come back, it will definitely be as a ranger. Good luck on the hunt.
P.S. I think nikkidial said the devs said stealth was too hard to code? She said it would never be in the game I think. In Anachy Online when you use your sneak skill you no longer exist to anyone who fails their perception check against you. So it can't be that hard since they had that 2 years ago. In fact they get a message saying when you have appeared/disappeared. So maybe the devs ought to call up the people from AO and ask how to balance a game.
Later Y'all
