Okay, I'm probably going to get flamed to death after this post, it seems that you Rangers are pretty dedicated to your profession... but I didn't choose it, so don't yell at me. Anyway, I got Ranger in a holo... and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to master it quickly, and efficiently. I was thinking long trips to Dathomir, in large groups, and asking people to enter the camps that I make... crafting bigger, and bigger camps as I go, harvesting every big creature I can, and generally making a nuisance of myself. Sound like a good strategy?
Observation: Our buddy here is a holo-grinder who has posted before. What he doesn't know is we will help any Ranger as long as they stay civil in our forums. We prefer real Rangers, but we will help speed you on your way. That being said, what everyone else said is basically it. Throw traps at Rancors. Harvest Rancors. Craft camps while sitting in a camp (double whammy) till your fingers bleed. Good luck

Also try to get people through your camp, if you can convince a doc to sit and do buff there - even better!
Oh, and one question I would honestly like an answer to. What's the attraction in hologrinding - if you're not happy mastering any other professions, what will make Jedi any different really? Once you've mastered it won't you be bored and either A: remaster a profession you've already done once, or B: leave the game as you feel you 'done everything'?
Yeah, always wondered about the grinders. I got Chef... yeah right, that was gonna happen. In a month of blue moons maybe.
Maybe in the quest part, but only if I can keep my main toon and stay Ranger too. If not, poop on it, someone has to be around to be in peril to be saved...lol... like stormies worry me??

I did almost all of mine solo execpt the trapping. this i group hunted on endor and just throw traps nothing else and did the tree in that whole hunt. The other trees where done on dant on quenker missions and hurtons, had to switch to hurtons for the bione to grind the camps.
a simple crafting macro will get you frontering really quick if you have all the resources and do it sitting in a camp as you max out the camp in about 15-20 mins.
