Greetings
Yeah that's it for me, I'm quitting. I'm sick of all the broken dreams.I'm tired of all the downers and waiting for things to get better. I abhor all the headaches and pains.I'm tired of them taking all my money for a cheap thrill. I have a life to live and its just too short to put up with this nonsense. I just can't take it anymore...
That's right fellas, this ranger here is done. No more muon gold for me. I quit.
Remember to just say no.
Peace
(This P.S.A. is dedicated to all the lonely Rangers out there living life on the edge. Put down the spice, be it muon gold, booster blue or neutron pixie. Keep ya Head Up!)

It seems my attempt at humor failed. IF it wasn't clear before, this post was about quitting the use of SPICES. Heh, okay I can take a hint. Back to the wilderness for me, to get lost forever.

I normally dont bother replying to these posts cause I dont like "negative vibes"
...but I must confess I'm standing right on the edge atm...likewise I have really enjoyed being a ranger, but I feel I'm lost for objectives. Hate grinding tried it once with my 4 holo's but went running straight back to ranger. Money I have loads...but dunno what to do with it. I have a house...but never go there. Hunted for loads of people to help them and give me some sort of objective. But in all I'm a bit lost. Most of my guild are grinding away now they are glowy...
Oh well I'm not knocking the game despite us select few being totally forgotton and a handful of other problems, but logic tells me it's time to move on somewhere else. Perhaps Eq2 if it's good...they have rangers there too..prolly not the same..never played the first one.
But I'll take this opportunity to say farewell and to salute the ranger community one last time. Thanks for your tenacity, and interesting threads. Hope all goes well in the game for you in the future.

lol - too subtle perhaps ?
caught me out too ![]()
The title was perhaps a bit too strong, so that the idea of quitting the game was firmly implanted before you get to read the post. People tend to see what they expect to see (except proof readers
)

isnt it interesting though how most of those who read the post thought of SWG when he was describing a drug used in the game?

eh eh eh
Spice rots your mind, makes you cranky and you wake up lying in the flowerbeds of player cities covered in last nights veghash. Like the man said "Just Say NO!!"
Stick to brandy and doc prescribed medication instead.
I want an ingame VW camper van to use as a mobile huntin' lodge / cantina / luuurv shack. Well, I can dream.

That was the idea. I wassatirizing the "I'm quitting" threads I see all of the time. Although I'll admit that I have canceled my account, I have to be honest and say that my issues with SWG isn't the only reason for me canceling. I got alot of work to do this semester as this is my first year in a doctoral program. I plan to return but atm between school and the lack of fun I have in SWG atm, I need to take a break. I see my canceling as more of a vacation than a complete cancellation.

Oh i see how it is. Let your real life interfere with your gaming life. Well Mr Starr stop thinking about your new Doctorolizing and get your butt back in game where it belongs.
