I recently mastered the Ranger profession and was wondering if their were anyAntarian Rangers on Naritus ?

Don't know, but I'm curious as well. All the info I've found seems outdated, though to be honest, I haven't tried contacting any of the names I've come across as my interest in the subject is only a few minutes old. It appears as though some nar rangers get the antarian bug every now and again, and try to get the ball rolling, but don't find enough interested partiesto warrant pursuing the matter.
Or...
There may be a vibrant group of AR's on naritus and they just haven't responded to your post yet. I honestly have no idea and wish I could be of more help. If you find out anything outside of the forum, or decide to try and kickstart your own AR chapter if one doesn't exist, would you let me know? I'm not a master ranger yet, but all I've got left is that damnable fourth box in the frontiering tree to go. Uh, did I say damnable? 'Cause I meant neato. Ranger for life!

Forgot to mention something in my previous post. Something IMPORTANT.
Let's talk faction. Are you for or against hawtpants?
I vehemently and emphatically oppose them. Oh, I also fight on behalf of that one dude. You know, what's-his-name. Emperor Older-than-dirt. He and I, and that helmet guy with bronchitis, we go way back.
So, yeah, I'm imperial. The AR website has a reasonable argument as to why either faction might find themselves members, regardless of the group'soriginal mandate. That said, I wanna reiterate myinterest in anything you find out.

Well the cool thing about that 4th box is the waycool titled of Frontiersman you get nevermind the Master Ranger ( yeah right!)
As far asthe hawtpantsI am totally unawares. Please fill me in. I am currently a running rebel but I got to say not very loyal. Thinking about heading over to the dark side. Butwhoknow what will happen with the jtl releasewith me. Probably would getflamed for that comment. But anyway asfarasthe Antarian List I am in the guild with one of the contacts and they have mentioned nothing tome about theAntarian Rangers might be just like you say aeasy ball to get rolling but not so easy to keep rolling.Well

i know this thread is a few weeks old, but i thought i'd add my $.02 as well. 
i've been a master ranger on naritus for a few months now and i would love to see an ar group started on our server. i didn't see many of us at first, but in the last week or so, i think i noticed about four or five other mr's just while waiting for buffs in coro, so perhaps our numbers are growing? or perhaps i'm just finally paying attention. at any rate, again, if anyone is interested in getting the ball rolling for an ar group on our server, i'm game.

I'm still interested. Seems like I've been seeing more rangers out and about as well. Like you, though, it may just be that I wasn't paying too much attention before either. Or it could be that more rangers are wearing their tags, ub3r l337 d00ds who want to find the boar and the farmer and what-not be damned.
I'm currently unguilded and am starting to feel the itch, but I only want to join a group if it's primarily rangers. Otherwise I'm happier lone wolfin' it.

i'm not really looking for a guild at this point, but from what i read on the antarian web site, you can have an AR guild, though not all members need to be in it. they just need to display the tag in their bio, which is fine by me. are we the only three that have expressed interest on this on naritus? i know that's not enough for an actual guild, but we could at least form a group of some kind that could later become a guild.

I'd be up for that. Nothin' to lose by trying it. If itturns into something lasting, that's great. If not, that's cool too.
On a semi-related note, a month or two ago I was trying to figure out a way to function as a ranger on at least the fringe of PvP. Don't know if it's been suggested before, but I thought it might be kind ofneat to form a sort of bloodhound guild on naritus to help track down jedi for bounty hunters. (I know some rangers frequently do this and the basic idea is nothing new; just not sure if there's a formal group that does it.) I say semi-related because it pretty much flies in the face of the AR mission statement. Who says there can't be dark antarian rangers, though? Plus, we've got some really cool BH guilds on naritus. Anyway, that's just an idea and it's something I can pursue alone if I feel the need-- you guys may have jedi friends and not be interested in that sort of thing, and I know tracking can be dull after a while. Regardless, some sort of rangery association would be really cool.

that sort of goes hand in hand with the whole antarians not being in line with imperials, which i've been pondering as well. they do say in their mission statement that, from an rp pov, you could very easily have a disgruntled antarian ranger who still wanted to be a part of the rangers but not support the jedi because of betrayal or because you like the emperor (he's so dreamy!), etc. etc. really, i'm interested in it for the 'group' aspect of knowing other rangers as well as the knowledge base that they propose on their site, rather then the rp aspect. and as far as the jedi thing goes, i think that's a personal call. if i were to do it, i'd only hunt lightside jedi as i do have a jedi friend who is dark.

I'm not a very dedicated imperial, but that's because I generally have had no reason to be. I'd be more interested in hunting light jedi as well. Well, helping to hunt light jedi-- you know what I mean. I really like the idea of a disgruntled offshoot of the AR-- I could fulfill my desire to work as a bloodhound and associate with other rangers. Win-win.
Also, as someone pointed out on either this or the tk forum, a TKA/Antarian Ranger would have conflicting ideals, since the AR are supposed to support jedi and the TK school was founded to keep them in line. Imention thisafter noticing that you and I have a similar (or maybe even identical) template.

LOL! i like it! i hadn't thought of the tka aspect, but then i don't really take that into account in an rp way. sigh....too many factors. but yes, it seems our templates are similar, but i'm not sure what i want to do with the half a skill point that i have left after mastering ranger and tk.
so we'll have to meet up one of these days to discuss what exactly it is we have in mind and how to go about getting that started. i've got you on my friend list, so i'll send you a tell next time i see you.
