Ok Rangers lets admit to our most embarrasing deaths. Last night I was dath leather hunting when I saw a group of Giant Baznitches. I was a 0/2/0/2 fencer and my brain was starting to fade back but hey they are only these big Nuna's right?
Well six of the darned birds attacked me I spinkicked away and then realized my brain was gone and got incapped. No problem I thought I mean there just BazNitches.
"Canon Fodder has died"
I yelled out "Excuse me?!" do an examine on one of the birds and "Deathblows:Yes". Thats what i get for not looking and just being stupid. Sure i died to diseased nunas when i was new. But im not new anymore and this was just plain embarrassing.

I decided to try the rebel theme park last week. This requires that you have 200 rebel faction points and so I took a few missions. After killing the 3 npcs on the first mission, I start whacking the stupid flagpole. Dull job so I start tidying my inventory and chatting. After a bit I notice that my health pool is going down fast. Lo and behold, an overt Imperial human player called Freca has seen me and is whacking me with a lance while I am diligently hitting the flag pool.
So I close my inventory and TAB to move attack to her. Naturally I find a local dwarf nuna and flagpole first. My health pool is down to 15% now. Freca has Duellist as their job title. If that is meant to intimidagte, it worked fine. I make a desperate effort to hit the mind pool which is the shortest of her HAM stats but she takes brandy, incaps me and slays me.
I reckon if I hit her once it was a lot. I might as well have been afk. Very embarrassing :-(

LOL... yeah thats embarrasing. The dangers of a TEF isn't it? The other player must have thought they hit the jackpot.

Yesterday, outside of mos eisley, a dung mite incapped me.
Admittedly i had just dropped my TK skills and was level 2 novice marksman, but I still hid the master ranger tag while I killed the little critters around the town.

The other day i was killing stormies... it was going well but at some point the blaster bolts being fired at me got really big. I looked at my radar... hmm just the 2 bucketheads in front of me and the one behind me. No big deal was using my area attack... stacked pretty high in the combat cue i might add. Then i realize my radar was zoomed in all the way. So I swing the camera around and see an ATST popping shots at me. I run as fast as i can without burst run but forget to clear my combat cue as i do so. Long story short one of my area attack shots hits a blood thirsty monarch (a butterfly) and aggroes it. It winds up killing me.. not the imps or the ATST... but the butterfly. Moral of the story, don't have your radar zoomed all the way in. Hehe.. oh well lesson learned right?

It was Baz Nitches for me too. Bored with rancor I decided to go for a few solo missions. Unarmed, no bots, hey, good price for killing these nuna things...
First nest I got to I managed to hit the lair with an area attack. Wall to wall aggro-turkeys.
But thats not the embarrassing bit. All the while I'm working away killing the birdies, taking them down one at a time, so as not to risk hitting the lair again.
They're all flat on the floor. My HAM is still dropping. I'm incapped. Finally I see it. Under the big birds is a baby, peck, peck, pecking me to death.
I logged off after cloning, I just didn't want all the other folks pointing at me and laughing

I was fully buffed. decked out in 86% composite. Brandy, music/dance buffs, the works. I was in Bestine, overt, waiting for some one to come fight me. So I see those big nasty looking stormies, you know, the ones that look like they're on steroids. I attack one, all 5 come at me. For some reason, even though they had light armor and only 10k HAM and Im spamming area spins, they're whittling awya at my health. Yet, I still boast and proclaim "imperial scum" yadda yadda. By now, there's a group of newbies and some older peeps gathering round, watching me get beat up.
then they switch from fists to stun batons.

Was dead within 2 seconds. Everyone saw it, and is laughing. even the newbies were laughing. I had my master ranger tag on, so for some time I felt like I had given us a bad name.
it's the low polearm toughness, i tell ye!!!!!!!

I was in tyrena on corellia, looking up hunting missions with my friend, who is my tank because he is TK and I am novice rifle, and 4 bars in marksman pistol. My friend stopped over someplace else for a second,so thereI am all alonetrying to decide whether a mission is worth it or not, when I notice my HAM dropping like peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. I turn off the mission window, and there is an overt imp TK going to town. BeforeI could switch to a pistol and defend myself, I was on the floor and DB. and when I got back she totalled my landspeeder. >< teach me to walk around overt. _ _

once upon a time as a novice scout i ran a reb mission and returned to coronet before my flag went away. it took about three seconds after pulling up at the starport like a big dufus and getting swated and hacked to pieces by a jedi named Bewareenemy hehe what a jerk i thought.....screw this im goin BH and hes the first on my list haha. but i got over it and decided to go ranger instead.

Radioactive sampled myself almost to death. As I was running back to town wondering how I was going to explain this some kind of passing fynock picked me off. I decided the radioactive sampling part of the story was less embarrassing.

I think for me it was when all the Gorax were dropped on diferent planets. We managed to find the big guy at the SE area of Lok and get a small group together to take the giant out. I check out his stats and I'm all like he ain't so tough. There's 5 of us buffed and armored to the teeth. We all charge in at the same time. 4 tkm's and a Swordsman. 1 hit, 2 hit, 3 hit, 4 hit, 5 hit. We all die in 1 hit each. I think we might have taken his ham down about 30. And I don't mean 30k either. We clone and decide a bigger group might be needed plus maybe a couple docs to rez us. I must have died 15 times before he fell.

For me it was in Mos Espa. I had just logged in and started to head towards the spaceport when I get scanned by a stormie. I decide since I'm carrying a really lame weapon I should just turn and run. With my HAM going down (was unbuffed and not wearing armor) I decided to run into a nearby building in hopes of surviving the attack. I get in and notice I'm still getting hit. I target what is attacking me and its two overt imps, fully buffed and armored. Needless to say I haven't spent much time in Mos Espa since. Last time I was there was to track the Mark of Intellect and I did that from the outskirts.
As far as just an incap, I think the lamest one for me was when I was grinding ID on a friend and got a moun downer right as I was committing a change... It's kinda funny to see a non-combatant, master of nothing lying incap in the cantina for noapearant reason.
