Thread: Changes to ranger, when ?

I been reading around this forum and I see that it´s changes coming for us rangers, when are they coming?
Im a 3-4-3-4 ranger now and I don´t always feel that my skills are needed by others for more than putting up a camp for them to take out their vehicles.

Don't worry, you'll lose that ability soon when they allow everyone to pull vehicles out anywhere.

and they wont need you for pulling out pets soon either...basically, after publish 6, rangers are just harvesters....

TH or C3PO posted on the CH forum why they changed this. He also pointed out that camps going to have some new features. He didnt specifie what the changes was, but that he was anxious to see them live.
Just let's hope it's going to be something usefull for us.

Any work on what will be addressed in the next patch? Other than the lack of needing a camp to get vehicles and pets.

No word as yet.
If the developers follow the regular logic, I will learn about the changes a couple days after they are pushed to Test Center.

Publish 6 is being released today (or rather, was released this morning)...
I suggest reading the DevTracker posts to keep abreast of such changes.

Phew...for a minute then I thought my camps were still going to be usefull...you had me scared.
On a more productive note, do we know if we are going to get a Creature Harvesting Bonus to milking Herbivores? 'Cos if that's the case we should have our name changed to Farmers as that's essentially what we'll be...grumble grumble...

Does anyone honestly feel "useful" because we can make camps and others need camps to pull pets and vehicles??
To me its just silly. Having to pull pets and vehicles in a camp is absolutely annoying. I certainly don't feel useful by being part of that. I am VERY glad its going away.

If esentially all we are going to be is harvesters and milkers, can we have "butcher" and "milkmaid" added to our profession titles list
