I was looking into getting some bio wear lately, when I find out there is only one item of clothing that can take a reinforced fiber panel (which is what BE tissues for mask scent, bleed, stun, melee defences go on).
A measily shoulder pad.
Not happy.

I'm quite certain that desert field command jacket (or something like that) can have one, as well as the camo pants as the padded work pants, formfitting undershirt (and a few other shirts) and the spec ops duster, also some bandoliers give you a bonus. Don't know about belts (got a prenerf mabari)
The problem is being original with your clothing.

Erm, you don't know a lot about Wookiees do you ![]()
As a wookiee, I can't wear any of the clothes you've just talked about!

I think you can wear a bandolier, thats appears to be your only other option. Have a look here.

Bandoliers mean you cannot wear backpacks... and backpacks are kinda necessary, especially when you have camps, camo, traps, food, stims, stacks of resources, weapons, armor, power-ups, loot you've picked up... and that is just the basic stuff. The items like bandoliers and the few shoulder pads (one?) that can take enhancements cannot take a lot, so it is nearly impossible to hit the max +25. Creature taming and Medical you can do it, but not the melee, ranged defense or maskscent stuff.
Its always been a problem, but it seemed minor in comparision with the fact that we had no armor. I think tailors have been fighting this battle for us - both for more options in general and the ability for the clothes we have to take more ehancements.
(And my personal peeve - the shoulder pad that takes enhancements changes my fur pattern when I put it on.

Just out of interest, does an unequiped backpack take up more space than an equipped one? Its been a long time since I unequipped my backpack, but I also have 3 unequipped backpacks in my inv. with stuff in them.

Well I think 'screwed over' is taking it a bit too far. I'm a wookiee Ranger and although I can't wear as much bio stuff as other species I still cope just fine. It's not like it makes me unable to hunt well or something - if that was the case I would agree we are screwed over.
I just want more clothes really, whether they are BE-able or not. As for armour, I was never bothered about the lack of it before and I rarely use it now unless i get into a tight squeeze or i'm doing high level PvE.

Also, we should be able to skin wookiees, and sell their pelts as hairpieces to the moncalamari.

Only Boba Fett got away with that and it was a just a single braid! Which reminds me - never pass out in a room where your drunk friends are still awake.

Wookies got other benefits to make up for it. And yes you have the bandoliers + the shoulder pad. This is more a thread an issue for the trailor forums. And NJ was pushing to get RFP panels in more clothing for humanoid and Wookie. It just didnt happen with the JTL Tailor changes.
I wouldnt say screwed over. Because you wookies get a bonus to creature taming to without tapes remember

True Fodder, but every species gets some sort of bonus - that doesn't necessarily offset the lack of BE clothing benefits. But every species has things they have to deal with - like trandos not being able to wear boots or gloves. Eventually I think this will be modified the same way wooks not being able to wear rings, use tellpet, or wear armor was eventually addressed. Its just frustrating now when you want to bump up your maskscent bonus and realize a bright pink twi'lek can get better maskscent thatn an earthtoned rug like yourself.

Well they did fix your grenade certification (KA-CHING!! Thanks devs). And in this case its just an issue of adding RFP's to the higher level Wookie schematics. I cant imagine it would be that much work for them. Your not asking for more variety just to be on par with the rest of us.
