A ranger standing in mo yelling "any 1 want 2 duel no db!!!".A jedi laughs and send a duel then boom jedi meat flys everywere....what a nice sight.....

Any way was wondering if this would be possible Mez walk up plant mine then boom dead person

or

root walk up plant a mine then boom.... anyone else think of this?

btw harvesting wookiee meat will be better then critters guy so pvp ftw...lol just kidden

Since the mines have a limited time, I would imagine that you'd have to lure people into them. Or the NPCs that run at you trip them off. People will fear seeing "Master Ranger".

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?


When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.


I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

An old school Ranger thought....


I doubt that with the revamp, the old school Rangers will be harvesting Jedi meat. Just goes against what I have come to know as the Ranger Society.


There will be Jedi hunters, plenty of them, but I betcha' they were not Ranger prior to the revamp.

I've already decided that I'll likely try to get stopping shot or concussion shot for one of my Rangers. Plant 4 mines in a tight radius, lure target over spot, concussion shot them, and walk over, take a screenshot, give them a /hug and then detonate those suckers.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

But no one know how long that time will be. It could be 48 hrs....Who knows.

I'd expect there to be some kind of check preventing you from placing a mine while people were in a certain radius - kind of like the camp placement thing where you need to be a certain distance from a lair or in order to go under cover you can't be too close to an enemy.

Bahhh why harvy jedi meat.....its the wookiee pelts im after! Unless the jedi IS a wookiee then I suppose a wookiee pelt with a lightsabre on it cant hurt..... And my idea for mines.............Place a two row line of them 10meters in front of me. /taunt something to charge me. ORRR Call a wookiee over to me. If its a npc then ill KD it and hit the switch to blow them off the planet but away from or towards me (Preferablyaway into a crowd to demoralize them) And if its a wookiee then as the fight starts. Pull out the detonator. Wave to him. And hit the switch. Use global tracking satellites to find where he landed. Pull out my BARC Speeder, and harvest his hide

lol these are great ideas... to bad we don't know the rules, how strong these traps will be or how many we can lay.... you think we'll be able to lay more as we advance farther in ranger?
