Thread: CU Testers: Some help please?

I need you all to help me raise some information. Here's what I need...



  1. Go out and kill a WHITE CON creature.

  2. Harvest it.

Simple right?


Now check your xp yield. I need the following information from everyone:



  • Your Combat Level.

  • Your Template including scout.

  • The CL of the creature you killed.

  • The amount of Weapon XP & Combat XP you got.

  • The amount of Scout XP you got for the harvest.

  • Your Combat Level. 16

  • Your Template including scout. Scout:3210 - Master Marks - Medic 0430 - Novice Carb
  • The CL of the creature you killed. 15
  • The amount of Weapon XP & Combat XP you got. 900 give or take
  • The amount of Scout XP you got for the harvest 125

CL 8 gurrcat, Corellia (white con)

Medium harvest

625 pistol xp

62 combat xp

6 unit harvest (meat)

126 scout xp (combat xp * 2 = weapon xp / 5, it might be)


Skills:

0403 marksman

0200 medic

2100 scout

novice everything else


Bothan, 1100 Health

Scout blaster off the frog (52.5 dps)

Wearing a PSG

Used a melee defense down trap to pull (59 trapping xp)

Uh oh, looks like scout xp is strongly based on your CL. Owen and I got exactly the same xp off of white cons despite his level being twice mine (although his CL is one higher than the creature CL).

Just to note, my numbers above appear repeatable on a lair basis so far (i.e. I got exactly the same numbers by killing another creature from the same spawn). Going to go check another spawn of whites.

Another of the same stats but a different spawn. 7 unit harvest but everything else the same.

CL 8 aggressive spawn, Noxious Vrelt Scavenger, same xp, 8 unit harvest, still medium size.

CL 8, carrion spat, same xp, fat and healthy, 9 meat harvest.

CL 8 razor cat cub, fat and healthy, 10 units, same everything else. I think that's enough data to say it's consistent at the same skill level/creature level. We need more data at varied skill levels!

I was in the same group with Bill, Im lvl19, but have 1424 Ranger and was getting about 240 scout xp, theres no question in my mind now that scout xp is purely based off of your own combat lvl.

There is still the possibility of combat level combined with scout level--compare the difference between Wildbil's and Owen's numbers.

I was pissed when I noticed it had nothing to do with units harvested like Live. In fact it was the next to the last straw for me.
