I made Master Ranger today and did some experiementing with the HT field base. Dancers still dont get rid of battle fatigue. You dont heal in them, at all. But, medics can do thier thing in it. There seems to be no set duration. i hung out for two and a half hours and it never disbanded. i also went out and engaged in three different fights and it stuck around

Gotta love haveing afk macro miners sit in your camps day in and day out to get more survival xp in 4 days than some get in 4 months

Would be sweet if the banners could be customizable so that others can identify your base from a distance.

The camps heal one cycle between 4-5 minutes. After that the timer seems to be broke and no more heal cycles. The camp not disbanding on it's own, while a cool "feature", may be on the same timer.

I don't care that much about the banners either way, but what I think would be a great feature, once ranger camps gain some longevity, is to have the locations of field bases show up in a list on the world map (at the option of the ranger), so other players could locate and home in on them.

Ok, what's up with this? They're expensive as heck to make, so I'd REALLY like to see them work as bases, and not disappear as easily as the smaller camps do. It would be great if I could do more than just sit back and watch the rest of my group fight nearby mobs, but all I can do is sit and watch, or send pets to help, because the instant I start fighting, whether in the camp or just barely out of sight of it, it disbands because I'm in combat. On RARE occasions I can fight something nearby the camp, and it won't disband, but it seems totally random when this happens.

Does anyone have any insight on what they're planning for the HTFB? It sure is silly to have something that grand and that expensive just go *poof* so easily.

Well, I see that some of the camp issues have been submitted...just not fixed yet.

"On RARE occasions I can fight something nearby the camp, and it won't disband, but it seems totally random when this happens."

- The disbanding of the camp depends on how much damage you take during combat.

- If you take too much damage, the camp will disband...

"Does anyone have any insight on what they're planning for the HTFB?"

- Most likely the developer will be re-evaluating the viability of all the camps when they start putting the new camp types into the system.

- Until then, we can only speculate on what is going to happen.

Another thing I would like to see for these HTFBs is the ability to drop items like in a house. Make these things a base just like with factional HQ bases. I mean these things are huge and nearly as big asa small house.Theyprovide the same amount of sterility (I believe so), and has plenty of room. This would definitely proivde an uniqueness and servibility to each base a ranger constructs. Something like this could be the ranger's home in the wilderness if he so chooses.

"Something like this could be the ranger's home in the wilderness if he so chooses. "

- The camps in their current incarnation are supposed to temporary structures built as midline base camps that agroup would fall back to during or after a long fire fight.

- There have been suggestions ofadding a hunting cabin that architects can make for us, that will provide the benefit you are suggesting. With the additional advantage that they can be built on the advanced planets.
