OK guys, lets chill out this fine Friday (it would be easier if it WEREN'T 80 degrees). The boss is gone, and I am feeling the call of the non-work-day... So, I made a little discovery last week; many of you probably know this, but since I didn't notice until last week, I will share it.

If you go to a Player City on Lok (does Nym's have Reb terms?), you can get level 32 Stormie missions when you are ungrouped, no matter what skills you have! I am a novice pistoleer (see sig) and I could only get level 12ish Droid Engineers from the Reb terms on Corellia. On Lok, I could grab level 32 missions, ungrouped! I am able to get over 100 FP per mission at a 7k payout, for only 3 stormies. Also, I have mentioned my Doc/CM friend who always draws down the mission difficulty when I group with him...they stay the same whenI group with him! Needless to say,I am staying on Lok until I am a Colonel (4 more promos to go) and can afford a Large turret!

I was at a Rebel city on Dant doing that. 3 troopers=50ish faction plus 500-1000 credits and a lil loot. Plus, the lair gains you about 100 faction points and 7800 credits. I used those to finish Rifleman just the yesterday.

If you hold down the zero button on the pad on the right hand pad you spin around and around and around and around....

Ooooo... thanks Calc! I have to go to Lok to do the next part of the theme park too! Cool!

Here is my tip, most of us probably already know this but what the heck!

Favorite hunting ground: Endor, Northern Wastes.

When on Endor look at the planet map. See that brownish area up north? This is a desert area. In this desert area there is a battlefield and around the battlefield is a very good spawn rate of med to high level animals. It is nice and flat with no trees so you get good line of sight, and there seems to be less spiders than in the woods. (Endor spiders are mean )

Don't fight TOO close to the battlefield. If an animal you are attacking wanders or runs into the battlefield it immediately becomes un-attackable (white dot on radar), and you loose it.

In short, this area has a nice field of view, good spawn rate (areatrack works well) and good resources (wooly hide, herb meat, etc.). Definitely my favorite hunting spot.

Here is a non-Ranger tip I recently discovered while leveling a tailor character on Test Center (TC).

Novice artisans can make good money and xp running crafting missions. Yes, it's true! Crafting missions run from player cities actually have a very nice payout. From the city I live in I can take two 1300c crafting missions to mos entha. After I have dropped of the schematics in Entha I take two 900c survey missions and shuttle back to my city. The whole trip takes approximately 7 minutes and I make approximately 4.5k.

You get a small but decent amount of crafting xp from building the schematics and the best part is that the resources to build them are free! When you have enough money to buy resources or pay harvesters you can build real stuff while waiting for shuttles. You can also get that nasty sampling xp while waiting for the shuttle. The efficiency of crafting, sampling, and getting good money all at once really appealed to me.

You don't actually need to be an artisan to run the crafting missions. All you need is a crafting tool. You DO need artisan to run the survey missions. If you are too new to pick up the nice-paying high-level missions and you want a break from killing paralopes, this can be a good low-stress method of mon(k)ey making. (Tried to resist. Couldn't.)

Me and a bud keep trying to find what keywords do what emotes...we all know 'yay' makes you jump up and down. We have also found that 'me?' makes you smooth your hair (unlessI am mixing them). I have learned a few others, but can't remember what the heck they were.

On a side note, we also learned you have a blast if you /jump while moving. It is also listed under key bind menus. I have it set to ctrl+j. We have jumping contests now, and I must say it looks hilarious when you jump whilst running .

If you type /amaze the same thing happens. Type /hi5 to give your partners that well deserved praise after taking down a critter

There's a ton of ways to "say" things. /say is the default. try a few of these:

/avow

/blab

/chatter

/gab

/howl

Bunches more.

instead of using "/emote blah blah" you can use a colon in place of /emote

for example...

: is always looking for good monkey-making opportunities

it makes RP a lot easier too

I love the running /jump. I just wish one could combine the animations to do a running jumping flail. That would be sweet.

Avian meat. Why did it have to be avian meat?
