Ok, this may have been said before, But my Friend Avanello (StarSider) came up with the idea so i said id post it for him.
Master Rangers should be able to place "Hunting Lodges" on Planets such as Endor, Dath and Yavin. This would give the Planets some what of a rest area between the Out Posts and they could function as Medical Centers and Cantinas. For Rangers use it would alow them to maybe set Acess Fee's and also give them storage for the meat, hide and Bone they bring in. Just trying to give incentive to Master the class if this has been said before sorry, if not hope you all like it

You know, this isn't too bad of an idea. Actually I've always thought that Master Rangers should be able to place a small house on an "unbuildable" planet, but only one, we don't want any cities popping up there or anything. It fits perfectly with the "hermit" type character. And make it a special type of house, a one lot deal with 75 item storage (like the round Naboo house has) but give it a different and rustic look like a log cabin, or a tent.

and its been "in the works" for about...6 months or so...all rangers would love it, heck, id even pick up ranger again just to have one of these babies...the good news is that publish 96 MIGHT have the new ranger updates we were promised 9 months ago...

It sounds like a great idea. These places could serve as starting points for people who are looking for groups on the advanced planets. They could also be used for crafters to hire hunters. If the crafter needed sometype of hide the ranger could then go out, find it, and bring it back to sell.

WAIT A MINUTE!!! HOLD THE PHONE!!! I thought we were supposed to get some love in publish 95.3!!! I need to have a chat with the Devs about this atrocity!!!

lol its a good idea though. But it'd be abused. Master Rangers would become Merchants just to place a house on Dathomir and have a little mini-mall in their cabin

It couldnt be permanent, only semi permanent.... meaning no vendors, no maintenance, it only lasts for a set amount of time.

Can we hire Npc's to look after these lodges as well? I'd hire a human boy called rog.......err....never mind
