Thread: Known CU Bugs & Issues with their current status.
Camps
Auto-Destruct upon placing. (Need to chk faulty circuitry that controls the roof to make sure it isn't crossing into the vortex storageoctogon.)
Some reports from group members that thier wounds are not healing while in camp
Traps
P-dart -snare- effect is not consistant and seems to do nothing on higher level mobs
A-mesh trap is completely useless
Have not tested other traps as of yet.
Tracking
Same oldsame old
Other Skills
/conceal I get msg that maskscent is broken... but conceal icon still there
/rescue Does nothing
/forage appears to be working
Interesting Asides
I have yet to catch anything while fishing. This may be a run of bad luck but still odd.
The critter rubber-banding is back. ARRRRRRGGGHH
The Jedi Padawon infestation of Endor is improving. Please have Imperial Exterminators continue the spraying. Heavy concentration found NW of smuggler's Outpost. 10-digit Grid location to follow in seperate encoded transmission...

1 mil needed for master box, but I am capped at 600k

I've posted this in the missions/quests board but it still affects us.
The missions lairs and camps only give 1xp upon destruction when they are 1 or 2 levels below me.
I did /bug it.
command line is case sensitive,. won't recognise caps. ie /HARV HIDE
harvesting from command line frequently gives a 'cannot harvest that' or 'cannot harvest in current state' while flicking to the radial allows harvesting (ie not a resource shifting bug)
Well this is craptacular. I'm going to cap at 600k scout xp and I need 1 mil. One more time.
Craptacular!

I'm having all sorts of problems on Dantooine currently. My level 81 missions are spawning level 25 mobs, I dont get harvest options from corpses and I can't throw traps at all!
This may be as intended. There's a possibility that some missions (possibly those spawning social creatures) are resulting in mobs which would cumulatively result in a CU of 80 ish. I know that I was taking some higher level NPC missions that were spawning 4- 5 CL 15 NPCs. As a CL 60, 5 CL 15s would provide an adequate challenge if they were social.
I'll add this to the list of things I'll beexperimenting on tonight and we'll see what happens.
I've also added all the concerns upto this point.
Issues: These are isses that need to be fixed ASAP. They are either Profession breaking, or dangerous to other professions.
- Trapping Concerns:
- Currently P-Dart is the only really functional trap.
- Other traps are applying states, all are "landing" with a decent frequency, the major problem though is there is no quantifiable effect. We see a blind state raised, but we don't see any benefit from having blinded the creature. We land a "Glow-Juice Trap" but we don't see any benefits to accuracy or increased damage due to altered defenses. etc.
- Harvesting:
- Harvesting from the command line is case sensitive. This means that when writing a macro you'll need to type "/harvest meat" and not "/Harvest meat" or "/HARVEST MEAT".
- Harvesting frequently from the command line can result in "cannot harvest that" or "cannot harvest in your current state."
- I'm going to have to play around with this. But it may simply be a timing issue. If you get this message pause for a second and try again. If it works, there may be a queing issue from the command line system. If this is the case add a "/pause x" command to your macro where x is the time that seems to be required between killing and being able to harvest a creature.
- Camping:
- Camps have a tendancy to auto-disband immediately upon being placed.
- Camoflauge & Mask Scent:
Currently /conceal does not work. We have confirmed that this is known and will be fixed with the next patch.Conceal is working on SOME planets.Currently there is no "buff" icon for Mask Scent. We have confirmed that this is known and will be fixed with the next patch.- No Kashyyykian camo kit.
- Creature Knowledge:
- Creature Knowledge is borked. Alot of the old information is no longer available.
- Rescue:
- Rescue has no effect.
- XP Gain:
Scout and Ranger have XP requirements that are unatainable due to existing XP caps.- Finding Creatures at your CL:
Many creatures aren't spawning naturally at higher CLs. One way to force a spawn is to "tap" a creature lair. Use /areatrack to find the creautre you're looking for then tap its lair to have higher level creatures spawn. I've confirmed this on at least Dantooine.- My original Workaround for this is no longer viable. Currently the starting level of the lair persists even when tapped.
- Crafting Traps and Camps currently grants Wilderness Survival XP. This XP type is no longer in a requirement for any existing skill line.
- General Hunting / Ranger:
- Mission spawned lairs and creatures have a tendancy to disappear from the radar and from view despite being within 50m of the player. I personally was hunting Quenkers today on Dantooine and witnessed "invisible" mobs which were appearing on areatrack but were not visible on the radar.
- The Agitator Motor Schematic appears to be dropping far less frequently than prior to the CU. After 2hrs killing and looting Canyon Corsairs at the POI I looted 10 crystals and not a single Motor Schem.
- Mission Terminals: Explorer Mission Terminals appear to no longer be working. These terminals would provide a great way for hunters to find high level mobs for harvesting and for gaining XP. Seeing them re-introduced with more functionality is a hope of both the Scout and Ranger communities.
- When renovating Mission Terminals for the CU it appears that Explorer Terminals were overlooked. The problem that we're seeing now appears to revolve, in part, on our own lack of a difficulty level as defined by the previous iteration of the combat system. When taking a mission from one of these terminals we are treated as novice characters with few to no skills. The highest reward I saw available was 350credits for killing 40 creatures. Now the problem is only compounded by the fact that the mission itself provides no sense of what exactly the player is supposed to be hunting. As a result the Explorer Mission Terminals are completely worthless because the player is told to kill 40 unknown creatures. Because, traditionally, these terminals named creatures that were not solely on the planet from which the mission is generated ... the player is left to wonder what (of all the creatures in the game) are they to hunt?
- Tips for those getting into the CU Ranger Lifestyle:
- Getting good Trap XP:
- The only way to really accomplish this is to find creatures at your level.
- Multiple traps do still appear to give good XP
- XP is granted only when after combat finishes.
Figured this kind of a post might helpfolks out a bit. We've seen alot of posts recently repeating concerns so maybe this will centralize things.

I am TKM/Ranger, I have been useing the 'glow wire trap', it seems to be working.
To find missions my lvl, 65 I went to Endor and used the mission terminal. Tried it on Talus, to low, on Yavin to high.
These of course are not fixes but my help in the interm.
- Crafting traps and campsstill gives Wilderness Survival XP
- Camps sometimes auto-disband as soon as you place them
- My forum login is barfed and I am now a mere poor imitation of my former self (ok not CU related
)
