Greetings from a brand new Novice Politician! /grin
We should be able to see how many votes have actually been cast for Mayor. As it is now, all non-votes go to the incumbant.
For example, in a city of 100, and only three people have voted (all for the challenger) the vote count is 97 for the incumbant and 3 for the challenger.
It should show 97 undeclared votes, 0 for the incumbant and 3 for the challenger.

aye, new..
People are inherrently lazy. If they had to actually show up at the ballot box, we'd never get any xp. . and we have enough grief potential without adding mandatory voting.
Let the proverbial sleeping dog lie...
