Thread: New Mayor Needs Assistance with Mission Terminals
Nope! Terms actually mostly work and are wholly controllable by the mayor.
Walk to the spot you want the term - face the direction you want it to face and type /install.
Caveat: Trying to install terms above ground (like on steps or ramps or building foundations) has a nasty habit of allowing the term to fall into the object so that it is inaccessible (including to remove!).

When you type /install for the terminal installation...at what point do you
get to pick what type you desire?
i.e. mission terminal rebel terminal etc

Yes. It will bring up a menu. It's very straightforward. As long as you are facing the right way when you place it and it doesn't fall into anything, there's not really any trouble you're likely to encounter. FYI, Rebel/Imperial terms require the Warmaster title (Martial IV) to place.
