I've tried to searchthe forums but after 30 minutes decided I'd just ask here . . . sorry if its a repeat question.

is there any way to send a mass e-mail to the city residents (I was just elected mayor and I'd like to thank everyone) to keep them updated on city activites and such.

One person told me to list all the residents on my friends list and tag them as "city" and I could e-mail to the group but that would take forever and a day . . . lol . . and I'm not sure if I want all of them on my friends list.

I know sending an e-mail to "guild" works for guild e-mail but is there a like name for the city?

LOL let me explain . . . I've had . . issues with the /findfriend command and giving anyone instant knowledge of where I am is not always in my best interest . . . hint hint . . . nudge nudge

Ahh... understood.

At a recent event in my city I had an out of town bounty hunter ask me to put him on my friend list.

I did not reply but my thoughts were "Darlin'... you are out of your freakin' mind"

Yep, sending emails to 'citizens' is much easier then grouping them in your friends list.

if your citizens don't mind keeping you on their friends list, you can probably write a macro that takes your citizens on/off your friends list quickly. you'll have to do manual upkeep on the macro though
