ahh, the long debated but nearly hated option. In my city we run with a pretty tight city council these days and they are the only ones allowed to grant zoning rights besides myself of course. I've never once given into the fact that Militia should be able to have this and i never will. Militia = City Police not City Zoners. This is why something really needs to be implemented making a more clear layout of how cities operate. I've always been very careful at who i allow on my Militia due to the fact that too much work and effort has gone into our city planning for someone to throw a tantrum one night and start causing chaos throughout the city.

A devcommented on this not too long ago and said that militia not being able to give themselves zoning was an oversite and will be fixed. I disagree with this though. Only the mayor should have free reign on where to drop stuff. Militia should have a sort of checks and balances, requiring one to give zoning to the other...This means 2 people are involved, not one..as only one person by themselves should be able to impact a city in that manner...and that is the mayor.
