I am being thick too
And I am also in my first cycle.
So in THEROY - 750 xp per week. After three weeks, when the voting season ends I should get 300xp per 'Vote' as registered against my name on the City Voting Terminal?
e.g
750xp x 3 weeks + (10 Votes X 300) = 5250 xp.
Is that correct?

Please forgive my stupidity for asking this question as it has probably been answered a number of times previously!! Howvever on my looking through the forums i get different answers.
I am still in my first voting cycle after becomming novice mayor and setting my city hall up. I have 37 citizens, so according to my voting terminal I have 37 votes.
Now i realise that i need to have ACTIVE votes in order to score any XP from these citizens. But i have also read that untill someone runs against you for the first time, there is no need for active votes and many other such stories.
So... My question is "As it is my first voting cycle can i expect to get 300XP x Citizens or 300XP x Active votes"??
Again sorry for being so thick!! lol
ANd as always thanks for your help and input.

It *should* be "300XP x Active votes" ... (rember ... you don't get it until 3 weeks after setting up your city)
But there *could* be a bug where the votes of players that just registered as new citizens are automaticly counted twords you (and since it's your first cycle ... well ... all citizens are new
) ... what ever your voting terminal says ("view standing") is the active vote count.

750 per week + (number of total votes X 300)
Your total is correct, but you set up the equation incorrectly.

Thanks for that. Probably why no one responded first time, as I came across as a thick git. I blame my state education.
/sigh
