oops stinking no edit crap. it has now been 2 hours and our town hasnt been updated. we have waiting a MONTH to get to level 4! And now that we have finally come this far...the update doesnt happen. and the day the stinkin CSR's take a day off. it has been 3 hours since our update was supposed to happen and nada, zip, zilch, nothing. not adam thing. plz someone help us out here. when we all look at the city advancement screen it says "Next City Update: error" W T F is that? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It may beFriday Night server load. It took my city 18 hours last week before I got my experience.

Took me 5 days to get my experience.

I'm currently on hour 14 of waiting for our update to finish processing. It's been saying error the entire time. In the meantime I'm afraid to let new citizens place houses. It's ridiculous that they can't get the system to process faster than this. I can only imagine what it's like on servers with planets that are capped.

You have to remember that when the server is down (for the daily update or whatever) time is not ticking, so if the server is down for 2 hours a day times 7 days that extends things by 14 hours right there. Add the time for the system to update the city vote and grant xp and it just takes some time.
