I still need help, tried those other things, nothing, don't know how you got pickup to work, I know the name of the items, it says i'm too far away or I can't see it, was to my understanding there was something for this in upcoming patches, I have an open ticket, this is day 4, i really, really, really need to move this clone center asap, its like the black hole of death in my city, any further idea's would be appreciated, thanks

got a clone center, want to pack up, some magical items r hiding within the walls somewhere, unable to redeed structure, what can i do?!

/commandline? what would i do, whats the proper syntax,but didn't they remove that from civic structures? gah!

I had the same problem. I tried decorating our clone center. Every item I dropped, then attempted to move using the /movefurniture commands, disappeared. I hate to say this but CSR seems to be the only choice.

My clone center is currently undecorated because of this problem.

I think I may have found something, I needto try /pickup <item> read that on some other forum, can't wait to get home n try it, got a ticket in still nonetheless

I'm afraid I don't know what to do about it if you have the problem already, but do know how to avoid in the future. If you /move /rotate something it is relocated to the center of the big floor to ceiling regeneration tank. If you do so without thinking don't panic. Keep it selected, press the tilda key ~ to pull up the radial menu, and select pick up. To avoid it, all you can do is drop it where you want it and don't move it. You can't move items in a cloning center without them relocating to the tank.

One more reason for having a hot-key to cycle through nearby selectable items (like in many other MMORPGs).

well sadly I gave someone else admin rights to decorate, never thought it would go bad, I've had stuff go into walls before, only to easily move it back, as it was still "target", I'll try this /pickup command, let you all know how it goes, all else, wait for my dev to pick up the cloning center and shake it violently until everything falls out, thanks for the support guys

well /pickup works just dandy if you can "see" the object, however itdoesn't help very much with stuck items in walls, still waiting on this ticket... 24 hours so far, lets see how much longer..... any other tips/idea's would be helpful

you *can* rotate them without them warping to tank. Only the /move command cause the warp in my experience. Our cloning center is rather nicely decorated now, but I held off a while because I was unsure of this bug.

If you know the name of the item, like a large couch, go over to where it may be and do: /pickup large

If you don't know what it's called then stand somewhat centrally, face all for walls one at a time and go /pickup a-z

Yes it's a little time consuming, but it works. I had a citizen that I needed to have move their house, I got up to /pickup s and found out it was a small bed...

this may help, first u will need a cargo pocket or a satchel, in ur main inventory. it will help if u have an idea of where the lost item is example round about what part of the wall , and which wall it went in to. if not check stairs as they may be there.

first go near the spot u think the item got lost in to the wall, walk up near the wall

1. open ur main inventory

2. open the cargo pocket or satchel in another window

3.go back to main inventory and drop the cargo pocket or satchel in the house,pa,cloning facility, ect where u r standing, keepingboth windows still open.

4. u'll notice a green arrow in the lower left hand corner of the cargo pocket or satchel window click that.

5. now if done right urself, the cargo or satchel should b in that window along with anything around that area, not too sure on the radius of it, if u see the lost item in the window remove it and drag it into ur main inventory now u have retrieved ur lost item. if u do not see the item pick up ur pocket and repeat steps further down the wall, try 5 to 10 meters. like i said its beter if u have an idea of where u lost it at.

I had this problem occur to me. The "couch" had warped to the top of the cloning tube. The only time I could get it out was when the "4th dimension" occured (building interior wouldnt load) and then I could see the item, click it and pick it up. Unfortunatly, they fixed that bug so now I believe it is time for you to send in a ticket.
