I know it used to be that you could be a citizen on each planet. I have noticed recently this doesn't seem to be the case. Can anyone confirm this for me?

You have never been able to be a citizen in more than place - you can declare residence once - your residence always shifts to that place and cancels in the other. Hope that helps!

Sorry, that is not true. I was a resident of the city of Insanity on Lok for a few months. I then picked up my house and moved toSwoop Territory on Naboo, and declared residence. Yet checking the City Hall terminals at both locations, I was registered at both. So were about 6 other people who followed me to the new city. We received emails from both mayors as well. So this at least USED to be the case, that you could be declared on two planets, so long as you did not REVOKE your citizenship of the first city.

But I do not know if it still works, as I have remained in Swoop Territory since.

Actually, the citizen thing in two different cities is a BUG. It was never intended for us to be able to declare residence in more then 1 city. Just a tid bit for ya In fact i have a couple of these ppl on my citizenship report but they are no longer living in my city. In fact 1 of them went Rebel and I'm mayor of an Imperial ONLY city Which brings me to my next point.. does anyone know if CSR's will remove these citizens from my city since they aren't actually living there? I'd hate to send out info. that is only specifically for my citizens and this info. gets into the wrong hands

Oh I know it's a bug. lol I didn't want to be a citizen of both cities, but I there were no taxes and I didn't want to take the trip up there. Lok is expensive to get too, never mind taking a shuttle once there. Almost 5000 credits just to revoke citizenship. Ouch!

Nope. I submitted a ticket and I was told that the individuals must undeclare themselves from your city. I have a person that is still listed as a resident that has left the game and their house decayed.

I would just suggest you send an bug and csr report (yea, they won't do anything but if enough mayors do this, maybe they will address this issue real soon) on this issue (just to cover your arse)and explain the dual residency bug. Then email to all those dual citizens informing them that you submitted a bug and csr report regarding the dual residencybug and ask that they undeclare from you city since this can be considered asn expoiting of a bug.

FYI, I know of a person that has residency in 4 cities.

DOH Thanks for the info anyhow... hopefully someday these 2 citizens will come and revoke themselves. I've been trying to get in touch with them for a while now. Even though they do add to my citizen count it would be a shame to send out citizen info forgetting about these 2 "dual citizens" and have them blab about certain things being put down in the city (i.e. Factional Bases). Although they could find out easily on their own about bases being dropped i'd like to keep these bases for a little time before them being solo destroyed

Ah, I never understood why a couple of my citizens don't leave my city rolls. Now I know. I'll contact them and suggest that they un-declare with the help of a CSR.

Ah ok. I didn't realize it was a bug. Thought it was a "feature" Aren't all game bugs? Ok, so a bug it is. Will have to email my people and let them know.
