Thread: Admin rights in City Hall?

I don't know about now, but as long as the person to get the transfer was a Novice Politician, the mayor could use /transferstructure to give them access.
We used this to let me decoroate the City Hall for the mayor - before I was voted in.

Is there a way to grant another player admin rights in City Hall? I managed to do it once upon a time (for one play session only), but I can't remember the command. Apologies if this has been asked and answered here already.

Not anymore. You used to be able to at launch of player cities but people used it for various exploits (such as banning players so they could not vote mayor out of office) or placing large stuff over voting terminal.

Interesting. I wonder if that is intended or a bug?

Hmm, I'm nervous about trying /transferstructure. What if I transfer our city out of existence? 
If it's not implemented, that's OK; I'll just get our interior decorator to tell me what to do. Speaking of which, Laeren, how'd you get that forum handle? Are the new forum tags in now?

/transferstructure is supposed to transfer ownership, but since ownership of City Hall is coded slightly differently than ownership for regular houses, maybe it does transfer admin rights without actually transferring ownership.

I won a contest in the Game Guides forum a few months ago. Now, anyone who gets on the weekly home show gets a new tag, but mine was the first one

And well deserved, although I still think Zel's Vader montage was a tad better myself. Was nice to see a third type of pool table out there though, especially since yours was so extensive.
As for transferstructure, I wonder if that would be able to be a way to McGuyver resignations...
