Fellow mayors,

Has anyone had reports of items poofing or morphing in banks when a city expands in rank? Our city tonight expanded to rank 5, and around the same time I got two complaints from residents that items in their bank had been altered or destroyed. One said he had 100K units of a precious metal turn into worthless copper. The other said a crystal had poofed. Any possible connection between these incidents and my city's expansion?

I can't see it happening as the bank is in no way connected to your city. Don't forget a bank is the bank of the planet not of the city. All you are placing in the city is an extra way to access it.

That was my reaction too. It just seemed like an odd coincidence. Just as I got the city expansion message, I got these two "OMG items have morphed/poofed" tells.

I'll hope the server reset fixed it...

They are patching a fix tonight for morphing resources. They usualy morph while still inside the harvester during this bug but it may also work inside banks.
