Homes have now stopped decaying. Ihave one sitting on 33% now for over two weeks. Just when I thought I was about to getsome room in my city...

People decide to quit, and off they go...leaving behind structures withmonths/years of maintenance in them and the response is "there is still a person on admin and a few items in the house so there is nothing we can do. Eventually when the maintenance runs out the house should go away, until then try contacting the owner and see if they will move it".

Can't really contact someone who is gone...I bet if they did a purge there would be alot of happy mayors...

I don't think we should only have "purges" to rely on. IMHO, we need an "imminent domain" so we can move (not destroy) buildings to outside of the city limits. This would be restricted to

1. non-citizens, and
2. citizens who have not voted in 3 consecutive elections (9 weeks).

The city would have to pay a "move fee" to move the building the building, but this is the fairest way to handle the "well, he can come back" vs. "I wanna use my city!" concerns.

Check out the

Something, anything, but geez, this is ridiculous...there is no reason a cities growth should be stunted due to people quitting, transfering structures to other players who quit or anything else.

In alot of cases you cant even move city structures around anymore because there are structures from people who quit 8 months ago and left 2 years maint in it...

And I don't know what they think is happening, but the houses are not decaying and going away anymore. There is one particular house in my city that has been at 33% for almost 4 weeks now...it should have been gone...

Cheers

do we ever have tentative ETAs on anything?

seriously though, they did mention a purge when they first brought up the idea (which is why I did less kicking and screaming than I probably would've), but they didn't give me a timeframe when I asked for one. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get any info, but in the mean time keep bugging them (not me )
