ok i was just wondering if the city gains any funds from the garage and skill trainers?

From the garage they gain a certain percent (depending on what the mayoe sets), but trainers dont supply money to the treasury. I really think they should allowa mayor to set a trainer tax... which could be made like an "education tax," or somthing.

There's several different types of taxes that can generate income for the city:
Property tax (charged on every house inside the city limites).
Shuttle tax (charged everytime someone buys a ticket from your shuttle)
Income tax (charged weekly to each citizen)
Garage tax (charged everytime someone repairs their vehicle at the town garage)
Sales tax (charged every time someone buys an item from a vendor in town.. sadly, this is broken at the moment.)
If you're the Mayor, you should probably check this out on the City Management Terminal in City Hall, and adjust them to levels that yourself and the citizens are comfortable with.

Though the shuttle ticket fee is bugged to me, ifI set the fee to 200 CR it gets reset to the default 100 after the server reboot. I dunno if this is a bug that applies to everyone, but it's been like this to me every time I've tried

Pretty sure they fixed the shuttleport bug. The city sales tax bug i dont think has bee n fixed though. It currently just raises the vendor prices and gives all the tax to the person that owns the vendor, not to the city. We have a loot vendor in our city that residents donate items to and all the money from sales on this vendor are put into the city treasury.

For the shuttle tax, is it only when buying a ticket or it also for using the shuttle?
What I mean is, if I buy a return ticket from a major starport and use shuttle to a city and back, will some of the money go in the city treasury, even though I didn't buy the ticket in the city itself?

Nope.The tax is only collectedwhen you buy the ticket in the city itself.
