Thread: How do i leave as city Mayor ?
Ok I am mayor of a city, and for the past 2 weeks i have wanted to withdraw my self from the race, and becouse the incumbent mayor gets the default votes and people not changing them i am still mayor. SO last week i droped politician all together, yet i am still mayor. Once again this weeks update i was voted in again.
Please im going crazy is there anyway to drop out of the race or anything ? with out being voted out ?

Currently the only way to do it is to either be voted out, or to destroy the city hall and let the new mayor place one (but you don't want to do that, of course). I'd send a couple more "citizens" e-mails and remind them, and tell them if they don't you're going to max out the taxes until they do change their votes. It's nasty, but it will get them to listen.

I am having the same problem. Politician is slow and sorry to say, outright sucks. I have done the politican thing and gone out to talk to people and recruit. It is very hard. People think you are tring to trick them or smooth them over in some way (typical politician). I have even gone on other servers to recruit people in the same type of city situation as we are in. It is very expenisve to recruit. "I'll give u a house if u put it in my city and money to pay for it". Sound filmilar? I want to drop this skill and give it to a ghost player but cant get the votes for them. I was thinking of dropping politician all together becasue it is a skill point hog. Want to know if dropping it while another person is running against you allows them to automatically win??? Thanks
