If your holocron says Politician, how do you grind one out?

No, not really... find a city or make one.. takes 74K of poli xp to master you get 100xp per week per citizen.. so all things being equal allow 3-4 months to master unless you can get into a city with 60+ citz right away.

A person in my guild got master politician from a holo..so yes it happens...AND it means the professions aren't generated at character creation...

From what I am hearing, yes you can get politician from a holocron. But from other player stories, CSRs have told them this is a bug and you can submit a ticket for help. They've even said that the CSR has gone so far as to change the holo profession to something more reasonalbe (yet time consuming), like bounty hunter, musician or dancer.

Oooh but what about the real unlucky sap that gets politician as there unknown profession? Having to grind out the other 32 1st would really stink.

I would welcome it, only because it will be mastered in two weeks. But yes, that would suck pretty bad.
