Militia should be able to grant zoning rights to themselves. I had to find another militia member to grant me rights so I could switch my PA hall.

Oh and by the way Tatooine PA halls were fixed in the last publish but of we never get full publish notes to know that.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but as a member of the city militia, I should be able to (currently) grant zoning rights to an individual. This doesn't seem to be working. I select the player, type in /grantzoningrights and I get the message that only the mayor or member of the city militia can do it. Do I have to be in proximity to the city terminal or something?

How do I grant zoning rights to myself?

Any help would be appreciated

I would ask your mayor to doublecheck your status in the militia. I know I lost a couple of my militia members for no reason last week and had to re-add them, so you may need to go back to city hall with your mayor and get joined up again.

And you currently can not grant zoning rights to yourself. I'm not sure if that is intended by the devs or not, but that is currently the situation.

Make sure you are not in a building when trying to grant zoning rights....

I had double checked and the city roster did say I was part of the milita - but I think I was indoors when I tried it. I'll try it again outside when I get home from work.

Yes that command only works outdoors.. Can't even issue it from my seat of incredible.. um power.. in the city hall

As an Ex-Member of my cities militia I can tell you one thing we found out early. That you can not grant yourself zoning rights. Someone else in the militia or the Mayor has to give you zoning rights. So basically we could give anyone we wanted zoning rights just not outselves.
